F.A.Q.s
1. What's going on?
Basically, X-Play likes to overprice their games beyond the prices we normally have(think R3 games costing as much as r1). GTA5 is reported to be priced at 2.6k pesos. What's worse, X-Play claims exclusive distributorship to their games meaning that they basically dictate pricing and have a monopoly on the market. DataBlitz once stood up to them but it didn't end well. Their stores were raided, stocks were confiscated and DB employess were detained.
It's because of this that I choose not to support X-Play with my money. Based from other threads here and outside the forums, there are also a good number of people who share the same mindset as me.
2. So we can get the game for cheap?
1. We might actually be spending more than if we were to buy the game at 2.6k due to shipping costs. The shipment could also be delayed so we might not get the game on release. The purpose of this movement is not in order to get the game for cheap, but as a form of protest.
3. Where will we be ordering from? How much?
At the moment we are looking at two sources, both members here in PPS.
