I am sure you have all noticed that the buying and selling of used games here in PPS is slowly dying.

At E3, the crowd went wild when Tretton announced that the PS4 will play used games, so you can lend, sell, or keep the games that you purchased.

But here, the activity of buying and selling used games is on the decline.

What is causing the decline? Do you still buy used games?

I think it isn't in decline..
Per experience na mas maraming ka-deal and more ads sa SULIT.com.ph kesa dito sa forum..
But i could be wrong..

Its not declining. But just my observation mas madali kasi navigation/ layout of TPC and Sulit which is not surprising since yun naman talaga ang purpose ng mga sites na yun...

Would have to agree. Although bihira ako mag b&s ng 2nd hand games, most of them were tpc transactions. Pero mas wide ang selection minsan dito sa pps.

wala kasing feedback.. kaya tamad mag b & s dito..hehe. yun naman talaga habol ng tao sa mga B&S sites yung feedback.. dito kasi gagawa ka pa ng thread.. mahirap din mag search dito..

How do you want it to be arranged? By console? By genre? Alphabetical?

Do you want it to be like eBay? like Amazon?

This site has atleast tried various things some worked others did not. Siguro for me bro, lets make it simple.

1. Games by console. - I would think this is the easiest.
a) Asking price -required
b) Meet ups/ loc / shipping inst- required
c) Tel nos - optional as some people are sensitive giving away such info

2. Kanya kanyang thread (if that is possilble) parang TPC.
Before I was a proponent of just a single thread per game "no ups" tapos inquires thru pm's only. But now if pwede kanya kanyang thread siguro. If you frequently update your ad you should see it near the top more often.
a) Thread starter can delete his ad. Less work sa mods and admin. Wala ng request for mods/admin to delete or close a specific thread.
b) 1 up per day limit
c) Negotiations on the thread itself or via PM allowed.
d) Threads without any movement in 7 days will automatically be deleted (by movement I mean not a single inquiry, reply to an inquiry, or an "up")

3. Feedback ranking page.

One reason na napapansin ko is ang mahal mag post ng prices ng 2nd hand games ng mga tao dito.

yes I agree with that too. Although it doesnt help that you cant compare prices right away like a buy and sell website such as TPC. I guess its apples and oranges.

Iba kasi kapag kita ang prices of what you sell. Right away if you like to sell quickly you just have to maker sure your price is the low compared to others. Otherwise baka pagtawanan ka lang sa asking price mo.

Okay ito. Currently PS3 pa lang ang naayos ang format. So ganun din kaya sa PS2, PSP at sa ibang consoles tulad ng 360 at Wii U?

ito lang masasabi ko sa BUY and SELL section. ang daming hindi updated .. hehe...

^ Mahirap kasi malaman lalo na kung di inuupdate ng poster kung sold na yung item nya.. That's the reason why we imposed the 1 month rule: after one month from posting at di naupdate yung ad, we will consider it as di na interesado sa ad nya kaya auto-delete na sa amin yun. Sa PS3 By Title at By Location pa lang natatapos pagdedelete namin. Sa ibang section pakonti-konti muna kasi sa super dami, matrabaho din magdelete.

ibalik yung dati. 1 thread per member. nakakatamad din kasi mag browse ngayon andaming sub-forum ng by & sell section.

suggestion lang.. kagaya nung sa TPC. i think dapat gayahin yun format dun sa TPC walang ng LOCATION. hayaan na lang both parties ang mgusap basta provided ng seller yun info. like Contact number and his location.
kasi kung makikita nyo yun mga naka post sa laguna meron din sa makati area.. parang useless kasi finaFLOOD din nung tao un mga location ee.

uulitin ko suggestion lang po ito para lang makatulong sa buy and section... no offense to others.

So meron pa rin palang pabor sa dating format.

No harm done. May plano rin namang ayusin uli yung Buy and Sell area natin e.

Some people prefer convenience. Sa "By Location" ako naghahanap since I'm very busy. Kung malayo, I'd rather buy from Datablitz.

^ .hehe.. kaya mo naman pala bumili ng brandnew.. yun nga ang pinaka convenient.. unlike sa USED or secondhand.. hehe..

Napapansin ko nga yun, kaya after ko matanggal mga old ads, magiging strict ako sa By Location ads.

As for me, mas gusto ko i-keep yung By Location kasi namimili lang ako ng mga sellers na malapit sa akin. The rest of the ads, di ko na chinecheck (well, chinecheck ko pa rin kasi mod ako para makita kung organized at updated mga ads, pero di ko chinecheck dahil interested ako... Need lang dahil part ng duties ko yun.).

Take into consideration the time and effort that you'll put in. Kung makikipag meet pa ko na out of way, mas malaki pa mawawala sakin in terms of productive hours and income. Baka mas mahal pa sa brand new ang kalabasan.

So people like me prefers to search by Game name. So i guess putting that as an option will make it easier sa mga buyers. It will be a hassle to sellers though because they would be putting up several ads if we go on a per game name basis.
