Mas ok para sa akin yung OLED, pero any unit will do.

Correct me if im wrong na lang kasi once ko lang nagawa to - need mo pa iformat card mo, reset/restore yung unit at syempre dapat may PSN account ka FOR the region that you want to use on your unit (or you can also just google for the step-by-step instructions on how to do this para malinaw). The entire process for changing the region should take no longer than 10 minutes.

Para lang safe ka sa game choices, mag default ka na sa US region - that way, madami ka na pagpipilian tapos pag need mo rin bumili ng US PSN card for it, madali ka makakahanap kahit sa mga local sellers dito sa pinas. Also, isa pang pagkakatanda ko is hindi gagana ang local (PH) credit cards sa US PSN store kasi kelangan US credit card din ang gamit mo so no choice ka kundi bumili nga ng US PSN card and use that instead for digital purchases.

As for the vita game library, madami nang lumalabas na magandang titles ngayon tapos andyan pa yung mga psOne classics so madami ka pagttripan sa vita mo if you do decide to get one. And last tip, sa december ka na lang bumili ng unit para just in case may mga good deals/bundles na lumabas for vita, you won't miss out much pa rin.

Kaya nga instead of the hard cases, I chose to get the official pouch as protective gear (plus the basic screen protector) for my vitas para sakop ang buong unit at parang unan pa - walang compromised na corners.

And syempre papasok din dyan yung argument between OLED and LCD on which one is better - and having owning both i can confirm na graphical quality does not matter. Naka-depende to sa preference mo. Usually naman kasi pag enjoy ka na sa nilalaro mo, hindi mo na mabibigyan pansin ng husto kung saturated pa ba yung colors or washed out. I usually play in the dark so hindi mahirap sa mata ko mag adjust sa colors and contrast nung screen. Again, magdedepende to sa taste mo. If it helps, nood ka nung mga comparison videos ng dalawang unit na yan sa YT and see which one you'll like.

di ako nakapag pigil..

problem lang yung matte finish niya is yung parabg nangingitim pag tumagal.. then pag nilagyan ng tpu ot silicone case yung mga butas ng ports sa silicone mangingitim and babakat sa unit.. parang sa pink, light blue, white, and lime green.. though ang sarap tignan parego ng aqua blue and nitong neon orange sa personal..

Sony IS still working on first party Vita content

First party titles for PlayStation Vita are still in development, Sony has insisted.

SCE’s SVP Masayasu Ito was reported last week as saying that: “Currently, first party studios have no titles in development for Vita. Since third parties are working very hard on Vita, SCE’s own strategy is to focus on PS4, which is a new platform.”

However, VG247 reports that Sony Europe boss Jim Ryan told journalists at Paris Games Week that this is no longer the case.

“To clarify what was said about Vita, which was either misinterpreted or misreported: I think what was said was that we’re no longer in the business of triple-A development of games for Vita,” he countered. “But there is still first-party Vita content being worked upon.”

This is pretty much in line with previous messaging from the company.

In May of last year SCEA’s product planning and platform software innovation director Don Mesa said the economics of handheld triple-A titles such as Killzone: Mercenary and Uncharted: Golden Abyss “simply don’t work”.

He added: “We have to do something different to get triple-A games on Vita. We accomplished it to a certain degree by making PS4 games work on Vita via remote play. PS Now will be another way, streaming PS3 games on Vita.”
