based sa nabasa ko sa cheapassgamer, limited stocks nila at strictly for preorders lang , yung gamestop may waiting list sila pero tinigil dahil din sa dami ng nagpareserve, ganyan din ginawa nila for wii na limited supplies so if hindi ka nagpre order malabo kana makakuha at launch

Best bet is to purchase a Reservation Card from someone you know or if you have a friend working at one of those stores...

You will have a tough time as migs23 said in getting a Wii U on launch day or prior to the holiday season if
you do not have a previous reservation/pre-order with an established vendor,
as these units are increasingly in high demand. And Nintendo, ever since the first release of the original Wii
have used the unscrupulous business tactics of creating hype by purposely "limiting" stocks thus artificially
increasing demand. A business practice that has worked for them in spades, causing pre-Christmas mass hysteria...

Anyway, if you're looking in grabbing a Wii U. I suggest you go for the extremely hard to get sold-out Deluxe Edition
as that edition has alot of perks (which includes among them, the ability to gain "credit" towards other purchases
by making purchases).

Here's what a reservation card looks like (got this reservation card with the help of a friend; and yes, I am buying
into the hype and getting the Nintendo Wii U. lol)

I have grown tired of this "current gen of games/systems".....having finished AC3 awhile ago and just recently
Okami HD......I want a new plaything. lol. And ima see what this new fangled baby Wii U can do.

Crap...
Wii U does not have a system of trophies or achievements such as Xbox 360 & PS3. #EPIC FAIL
Well.....it's okay. But would of been nice of a feature to have...
