It's really a niche game even for most of us RPG lovers dahil medyo mahirap yung game compared to your typical SRPG pero it's definitely a good addition to the 3DS library, not to mention that if it at least sells even as an average title, it might open up the market to more localization from Japanese rpgs.
Definitely buying...and i mean new. Last 3ds game we bought brand new was kingdom hearts(since pokemon white 2 is stll ds) and we regretted it. I somehow can't bring myself to play the game...it just kind of repels me without meaning to. I think i've logged only 10 minutes into the thing. Hope xzone plucks all the right strings.

Ako lang ba, or is this Namco, Capcom and Sega's way of saying FU sa mga nag-aabang ng Tales of Vesperia (yung PS3 version at least), Megaman X, and Valyria Chronicles 3?

:ashamed:

But this so far looks to be a good reason to get a 3DS, regular man or XL! :agree:

Hehe..wag naman sana. Malaki potential ng Vita for really good games eh.

On topic though, I'm really glad that this game got a definite NA release date. Much happier that it's closer than expected. I hope it does good para naman marelease na din at malocalize yung mga games na una eh Japan exclusive lang.

Sana din lumabas yung Limited/collectors ed nito.

Project X Zone Upgraded To Limited Edition For The West

Namco Bandai is bundling extra goodies with Project X Zone. The game will be sold as a limited edition with a mini-art book, poster, and music CD packaged with the game. Project X Zone will still retail for $39.99.

This sounds pretty much like the Japanese release which came in a slightly larger box to accommodate the Crossover Sound Track CD and art book called the Appearance Work Guidebook.

Project X Zone comes out on June 25 in North America and Latin America.

Update: Namco Bandai have confirmed to us that Project X Zone will use the game’s Japanese voice track with English subtitles.

Yesterday, Namco Bandai announced Project X Zone, a crossover RPG featuring Namco, Capcom and Sega characters, for a western release on the Nintendo 3DS. The game has over 50 selectable characters from across 29 different videogame series.

A crossover of this scale isn’t something you see released in the west very often, owing mostly to complex licensing issues, so we got in touch with Namco Bandai to ask if the western version of Project X Zone would have any content cut from it as a result of licensing complications.

“The game will feature the same characters from the Japanese version,” a Namco Bandai representative shared with us.

When we asked if that was a confirmation that the game would feature no cut characters or content, another representative responded: “The content of the game should [be] the same as the Japanese version.”

Unfortunately, Namco Bandai declined from sharing whether or not they would be releasing the two Nintendo eShop demos for the game in the west.

Project X Zone is slated for release in North America and Europe sometime this summer

But if it is true, then I'll be very happy. Hopefully namute lang or naka off lang yung voices...
