San Juan (where I live) - Guia Gomez (Erap's wife so...still an Ejercito/Estrada)
Mandaluyong - Menchie Abalos (still an Abalos)
Makati - Abby Binay (still a Binay)
Manila - Erap parin
QC - Herbert parin

So sila sila lang ulit hahaha.

Parang sa Mandaluyong lang...

Mayor - Benhur Abalos
Congressman - Neptali Gonzales

Nagpapalit palit lang sila every term hanggang sa maubos yung number of terms allowed. Ngayon mga anak naman nila.

It's a wait and see for Digong Admin. Expect Davao City rules be implemented in the whole country. Liquor Ban till 1am (because workers need to sleep in order to work the next day), Curfew for minors till 10pm (so that they can sleep early and prepare for school the next day), No spitting, 30-60kph speed limit depends on the road, smoking and firecracker ban, etc..

People wanted change. He won. So they should follow. They shouldn't complain when Digong gets very strict. Digong already stated that he will really double the salaries of Police and Army. And remove every proven corrupt police and military officials.

The rumored entry salary of policeman is said to be around 50,000php.

He stated he is looking to make revisions to the constitution. for economic and business purposes. then later he will look to change the govt format into Federal/Parliamentary. Of course he needs con-con. He's gonna hire "economic experts".

He's looking to Fil-foreign business policies like from 60/40 to 70/30 shares. He wants the country to be a free market to eliminate monopoly. More investors, more jobs, more competition the better for consumers. I think the oligarchs will hurt a lot in this especially those who have total monopoly/duopoly of business/industry.

It's kinda hurt to read that porke nanalo lang si Digong eh may mga aalis na nang bansa. Parang may early judgement na kay Du30. But i can't blame them. Ganun talaga.

Liquor ban from 1am - ano to?

Curfew for minors - ok lang.

No spitting - matagal ng bawal. Pati nga shirtless na lalake in public bawal.

30-60kph speed limit - Sarap mag long drive niyan.

:2thumbs:

yeah.

Just give the guy a chance, lets see if he got what it takes to truly turn this country around.
I do hope he enforces discipline, I am one for it. My concern is he likes to operate outside the rules of law. My wife works at court and we both can tell you, even inside the law, innocent people go to jail, what more if it's outside. I know someone who went to jail for 3 years for murder until he was acquitted.. still.. 3 years innocent in jail. You can't really acquit someone after you execute them in a back alley. This is what the people who voted for him seem to miss, if he can go that far, how far can he go still? If he can take the right to live, it's easier to take the right to speak your mind by a bullet.

Oh I will give him a change. I'm hoping and hoping that all of that is just a front and that he can change the country for the better. But I'll still want that Canada on the table, maybe somewhere with a better climate. :-|

That list is unrealistic and impractical. Backpacking for 6 months? Has any average Filipino ever tried that?

The house sitting is interesting.. Since I hate dealing with people. (I'm currently a team leader of 78 people) but I don't think there's growth in that area.

EDIT: Checking out #7, thanks.

Actually there a lot of similar article but with different title, but mostly not written by a Filipino. Very common ang #1, #4, and #6 sa ganitong list.

Yes, may nakagawa na ng backpacking SEA for 6 months. Dalawang Pinay na mag bestfriend. One of them is a known travel blogger. But they did it noong 2006 pa. They were able to do it for just a little more than P100K.

I think #6 is the best way to travel long term.

Im done with #2 and that is the sole reason why ofw's and former ofw's like me picked du30 among other candidates - kasi hindi lang namin nasaksihan ang maaaring maging itsura ng pinas kung sakaling maging disiplinado ang mga tao kundi naranasan din naming mamuhay ng ilang taon sa ganung sistema.

Although nandun yung risk pero somehow vigilance is still exercised.

Like what I have been saying here, hindi ako 100% suporta kay digong and i myself even question his methods pero sya lang ang viable candidate na alam kong ppwedeng makapag-pull off ng ganung klaseng pamumuhay. But right now it's still too early, he haven't taken his oath yet and he sure still have a long way to go and a lot more to prove. If there is one personal expectation that I have for du30 is that he should enforce not only discipline in our society but also ensuring that the rule of law will always prevail lalo na yung due process.

Natatawa na lang ako pag nakakabasa ako kahit sa mga social media na para bang takot na takot sila kay duterte na tila parang feeling nila eh anytime biglang maghahasik ng lagim or magdedeclare ng martial yung tao, srsly, just chill and let us all just wait for things to unfold...

Screw Duterte.

Just kidding, I see your point, no reason to jump the wagon just yet. It's not like the congress will just let Duterte do whatever he wants, that's either good or bad news, depending on what Duterte wants done.

^I feel you.

Kahit anong malakas na sounds sa gabi. Dito sa Laoag, pag may patay, nagpapa-live band yung namatayan. >.> Not marching band, a real live band, drums, guitars and all. Yung marching band para sa umaga naman sa funeral procession. as in late ka na nga natulog dahil sa ingay, gigisingin pa ng maaga. T.T
