same here... using WiFi, not much issues... minsan sa TTT2 may ibang players may lag sa iba sobrang ok naman... Uncharted online no problems... Although sa mga games listed above wala ako so I can't say for those... pero it may help nga if naka direct LAN instead of WiFi kung may lag or dc problems...

im using globe broadband 3mb plan and so far no problems! when im playing mw3 i still do have some problems looking for games (takes forever) especially when its really early in the morning (1am - 10am) and im usually 1 or 2 bars... i think i was getting connected to US,EU,AUS servers. its not like blackops where you can choose to be connected to local servers only. but when i do get connected to ASIAN based servers i have full bars. im hoping blackops 2 has the same matchmaking as blackops.

Hello, so I was using PSN na nuon using Globe Wimax on my Fat PS3 and since May 2012 I have stopped playing my ps3 since I had to leave it when I went to EU. Pagbalik ko YLoD na sya (Can't blame it, it was her time to go peacefully na rin naman)
Anyways kabibili ko lang ng slim na ps3 then I bought WWE 13 and Borderlands 2 as well, naturally they had version updates, when I updated it, Borderlands 2's update na 336mb takes me 70-115mins ayon sa display, then for WWE 13 600mb+ well, let's just say I got pissed and pressed cancel.
I could play and update DCUO without lags, hassle and yung update times are slow.
Sa desktop ko I downloaded the FW update as well,(192mb), takes 10-15mins lang. I tried Wireless and Wired for my ps3, almost the same result.
I forgot how to set-up using manual so lahat yan ay on "Easy".
ATM I am trying on Wired for Borderlands 2 and so far it shows 68minutes with 10% done.
Dati I remember Primary and Secondary DNS thingies, pero I forgot and lost them as well.
Can someone please help me?

Why don't you try PS Download Manager? There's a thread here somewhere, and I posted the link to the latest version before the developer went on hiatus.
The idea is to setup a proxy server in your local area network and configure the PS3 to send all its traffic to the proxy. The proxy then logs all traffic from the PS3, including the download links. Say you're updating a game. The link would show up in the proxy server like in the example below:
Then you can download the file from your PC (and turn off your PS3 or whatever). Once done, it's simply a matter of initiating the download again from your PS3. This time, the PS3 will download the file from the PC (using your local network bandwidth).
My guess is that you used a download manager when you downloaded the firmware update from your desktop. I'm not sure about the PS3's download manager, but the ones we use on our desktops are usually multi-threaded. Like this:
8 threads by default; downloading in parallel
This is usually the reason why downloading using the PC is faster and more efficient.

Pasensya na.
Sa madaling salita:
2. Configure mo PS3 mo na gumamit ng proxy:
Settings > Network Settings > Internet Connection Settings >
IP Address
Subnet Mask
Default Router
Primary DNS
Secondary DNS
MTU
Proxy Server - Use
UPnP
5. Pwede mo nang i-cancel ang download sa PS3. Pwede mo na ring i-off ang PS3. PS Download Manager na ang bahalang mag-download.
7. Mabilis dapat ang progress ng file transfer.

I just changed my ISP provider from smart to globe wimax and I'm completely enjoying it
Only problem is I can't seem to change my nat type..I have a nat type 3 in my ps3 and I want to change it to nat type 2,already tried DMZ and UPNP,Static IP address..I can't seem to change it..So I searched the net for answers and some say the only solution is to bridge my router to my modem or is it vice versa?either way,any help would be appreciated TIA!
Additional Info: Router:Edimax BR-6524N (Wireless),Globe Wimax Plan 999 (ISP Provider),Connecting my PS3 wired via Router.

I've been using Globe Wimax for about 3 years now. Gumagana naman sa PS3 for online play.
Yun nga lang naka NAT Type 3 so limited when it comes to online play. There are games na hindi talaga makahanap ng matches gaya ng Dead Space 2 and RDR. Wala kasi akong tiyaga magbasa ng instructions on how to change the NAT Type.
