feeling ko mga parang pay a subscription fee then get tons of free content via a Sony PS3 club or something like that

free demos, games, vouchers for free DLC, beta codes, exclusive DLC and stuff na any normal PS3 user can live without

yun na nga sabi ni Darkwing parang Qore :agree:

the good news is, all the free stuff we currently have will continue to be free. what you're paying for is additional stuff we don't have now

which is good :agree:

PSN > XBox Live pa rin when it comes to free online gaming

Sony to step up PlayStation Network security with two-step verification

Sony to step up PlayStation Network security with two-step verification
Sony plans to step up security on the PlayStation Network with the addition of two-step authentication, according to a statement from the platform holder.

“In order to further safeguard our users and their accounts, we are preparing to offer a 2-step verification feature,” a Sony representative told Polygon.

Two-step verification, as the name implies, requires users to confirm their identity in two different ways. The first is usually through a username and password, which Sony already requires. The second step is often a code, sent to a registered email account or cell phone number provided by the user. This method is much more secure than a password alone, since potential hackers would also need access to a user’s phone or email address.

Some PlayStation 3 users have reported seeing a message about two-step verification after installing the version 4.80 update, further confirming that a more secure log-in service is on the way

Sony hasn’t yet said when the two-step verification process will be implemented.

^^^ Doon sa link may pinakitang picture na proof daw na pagka-update ng PS3 sa 4.80, may message na "If 2-Step Verification is Active, you must enter a device password into the [PASSWORD] field. Check you mobile phone for a text message about your Sony Entertainment Network account".

Ok sana yung verification through text message kaya lang I doubt PSN US will just accept any number outside the country. :D
