Maganda yung story trailer. Gusto ko yung part na na explain kung bakit napunta from Greek mythology to Norse mythology.
Sana every generation they reinvent the franchise going to another mythology like Egyptian, for instance.

FUTURE GOD OF WAR GAMES COULD TAKE ON EGYPTIAN OR MAYAN MYTHOLOGY
BY JOE SKREBELS
God of War may only just be heading into the territory of Norse mythology, but it might not stick around there.
Speaking to Game Informer, director Cory Barlog explained: "The Greek games were the Greek era of God of War. Moving on, the next mythological belief system he interacts with became the Norse era of God of War. But we may end up going on to the Egyptian era and the Mayan era and so on and so forth."
PSX 2017: New God of War Details Revealed
Of course, God of War's Greek era was eight years and six games long, so this may not be a plan for the immediate future. Then again, much of the appeal of the upcoming PS4 God of War is in its change of setting and the personality of its lead character, Kratos, so Sony Santa Monica may be keen to reinvent the series more often.
"What became apparent to me was that we were watching this franchise wane a bit," explained Sony Santa Monica Head of Studio, Shannon Studstill. "It was getting old. The storyline with Kratos being the hardcore badass - I think people were starting to say, 'What's next?’ I felt like, in order to reinvent, we really needed to turn a lot of things around."
It's not a huge surprise that the studio would be considering one of those mythologies in particular - we already knew that the Norse game could have had an Egyptian setting instead.
At E3 2016, Barlog said: "Half the team was way into [an Egyptian setting]. Egyptian mythology is about the pharaohs as embodiment of the gods on earth and there's a lot more about civilization. It's less isolated, less barren. Having too much around distracts from that central theme of a stranger in a strange place."
Whatever happens in the next game, we know that this won't be Kratos' last outing - we'll just have to wait and see where it ends up taking us when it arrives this year.

^^Nice!
Yan kasi yun yung original idea ni David Jaffe for the sequels. For every sequel, Kratos conquers a different mythology. After Egypt, pwedeng Roman naman.

Wala bang balita or rumors man lang regarding a remastered version of God of War Saga sa PS4? I know GOW3 was already remastered but what about the others?
Nakakita kasi ako ng God of War Saga. I want to repurchase to prepare for the next GOW game.

Cory Barlog wanted to have one-shot camera for God of War. He previously wanted to do it in the Tomb Raider reboot.
