Bro Ron, saan mo recommended bumili ng TV, online or sa physical stores (Abenson, Anson's, etc.)? Makakamura ba ako sa online? And by the way, have you guys seen Sony's CES presentation? Ganda nung speakerless TV!

when it comes to planning in buying appliances or gadgets, I follow one simple rule: Kung gumagana pa yung gamit ko, wag muna bumili ng bago.

Eto pa isang tip, don't overspend on stuff that you won't need right away or you won't use often. Swak naman yung image quality nya for my taste so hindi ako nasayangan sa nagasta ko for it. I turn them off properly and unplug from wall socket if not in use. So my advice is to do both (look online and at the stores). Sa sights and sounds ako bumili ng tv and reliable store sila so di ako nag hesitate umorder.
Pero may kaibigan ako sa olx lang bumili and wala naman problema and official warranty pa.

Mga sir. Planning to buy sony 43 x8000d this march 15( sakto sa sahod. Haha.) Is it too late na ba bumili kasi lalabas na mga 2017 models this april sabi ng mga sales agents? Or ok pa naman bumili?

This will sound a bit weird since i bought the same tv not long ago, but i would say wait until the price drops. Or wait for the 2017 models.cholobuster wrote: ↑Sun Feb 26, 2017 12:08 pm Mga sir. Regardless, the x800d is a fantastic tv.

Set mo lang sa game mode
I keep my brightness at around 15-25 (depending on the conditions of ambient light) during the day, and at 1-5 pag naka patay ilaw sa gabi.
Contrast is around 80, and i turn off (or set to zero) all the contrast enhancements, motionflow, black adjust, etc.
For color I think 55, with dynamic color off. Sharpness is kept at the default (50 I think).
Pag HDR, mag aadjust naman by itself yung brightness to the max so no need to tinker with that.
Thats it, enjoy!

That's what it says kasi on all sony webpages. yung x800D na US version kasi is native 60Hz. Would be buying this sana pero that's my dealbreaker.
If talagang 50hz native sya, how's 60fps gaming there?
Also any alternative TVs you can suggest? thanks guys!

It's a 60 hz set. 50 hz is for PAL territories only. http://www.sony.com.ph/electronics/tele ... ificationssteeps wrote: ↑Fri Mar 31, 2017 2:04 pm sirs confirm ko lang kung talagang native 50hz TEXT SPEAK VIOLATION x8000D? If you prefer size (and your budget is around the 30k price range), the Samsung 49ku6300 is around 30,000-31,000 pesos right now. It's Curved, UHD, Smart, 4k tv with HDR. The main advantage it has over the x8000d is the size, and the deeper blacks.
But the Sony wins in terms of the HDR quality, since it has a 10 bit panel, whereas the ku6300 is only an 8 bit panel. So you have better colors (even in non-HDR mode).
I think PQ wise, they're about even, it's up to your preference lang.
