Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood will feature a single-player campaign that is “over 15 hours long†according to publisher Ubisoft.
The game is the direct follow-up to Assassin’s Creed 2 and will take place directly after that game, as Ezio returns in an epic struggle against the powerful Templar Order. Now a legendary Master Assassin, he must journey into Italy’s greatest city, Rome, center of power, greed and corruption to strike at the heart of the enemy. Defeating the corrupt tyrants entrenched there will require not only strength, but leadership, as Ezio commands an entire Brotherhood that will rally to his side. Only by working together can the Assassins defeat their mortal enemies.
And for the first time, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood offers a never-before-seen multiplayer mode. Players can help the Templars by using Abstergo to train in the art of Assassination to eliminate the Assassins once and for all. Players can choose from a wide range of unique characters, each with their own signature weapons and assassination techniques, and match their skills against other players from all over the world in different game modes.
Players can also expect new gadgets to mess around with in the single-player game like parachutes, an advanced flying machine and what looks to be a crossbow.
I’m sure we’ll learn much more on the game at E3 2010 in June.

Assassin’s Creed 2: Brotherhood will be coming to Xbox 360, PS3 and PC in Fall 2010. Please note that this game is not Assassin’s Creed 3, which is expected to be released next year, in Fall of 2011.
