Huwag kang bumili ng branded o mahal na HDMI cable.
Branded or cheap HDMI cables are basically the same since the cables use digital signals.
Miske cheap HDMI cables na binebenta sa CDR-king pwede na.

bagal kasi ng updates sa asian psn store, lagi late ng ilang weeks.

ah ganun ba un edi sa pag asian version ps3 ko hongkong daw maganda ba un asian na ba un?? edi sa region 1 ako gagawa ng psn sa r1 xe mabilis db makakapag update pdin ako kahit anung region pa ang games ko?

I think all the PSN updates are now synchronized(except Europe). And regions don't matter in BD and Games. well, at least for now.

Guys I'll be buying maybe tomorrow a new PS3 SKU since sira na talaga TEXT SPEAK VIOLATION luma kong 60gb (sayang BC).

Questions:

Which one is the better SKU? US or ASIAN?

I've heard something about CECHL12 for the Asian version or something, which is not quite clear to me. (Dual Lens?) So that means mas maganda ang Asian version kaysa sa US?

no matter what version it is(Asia, Japan, US) it's still CECHL. magkakatalo lang sila kung PAL or NTSC.

Ganun? Kasi ang pagbasa ko TEXT SPEAK VIOLATION sa wiki and everywhere else is CECHK. Dito ko lang nabasa ang CECHL12 kaya nagtataka ako.

My previous account is a US account. Can I still DOWNLOAD and PLAY PSN Games on an ASIAN unit?
Will my game saves still work properly?
If there a game update available for an R1 game that I have. Will I be able to get that update?

Asian lang din ang i-play nya. region locked kasi pag movies, ganun din sa ps1 and ps2 games. saka wala ng BC ang ps3 ngayon so hindi na sya nakakaplay ng PS2 games.

Yes on question 1.

Situational on question 2, if you have saved all your data on another external HDD or USB drive then yes. If not, then no.

Also yes on question 3.

CECHK01 -- 80GB version, RSX=90nm (lumang model na to.)

CECHL01 -- 80GB version, RSX=65nm (eto yung bago.)

CECHP01 -- 160GB version, RSX=65nm (bago din.)

For me, the only difference is the PS2 games and the button configuration. The X and O are inverted! Like in the US version, to start, press X but in the JAP, it's O. Pisses me off cuz i can't use the cheat on rockband 1!

mga sirs/maams, questions lang... i have a 80gb HK CECHL12 PS3 and i'm currently using my year 2000+ JVC interiart CRT TV model AV-29L31-ph (which i think is actually a multisystem tv kase it's not that old naman). i have games mostly R3 and some R1 and some demos from both the US PSN and HK PSN. some play well while others like my batman AA R3 dont seem to work well with my display (black & white flickering while playing) even though its R3. i have also PS home, and some bunch of vids/demos which seem to take the same effect with my ps3 and tv. so obviously here's my questions: does this mean that even if i have Region 3 games/demos and an Asian unit some still dont get to be compatible? or is it with the cable i'm using kaya? i only have the composite one. can a component cable remedy this?
