Innocent question here. Been using for the longest time Optical Digital through my Logitech Z5500. No pala difference ng Optical digital sa coaxial? 5.1 and madedecode din ba ng coaxial DTS etc.?

Kakatapos ko lang ng SH1 sa PS1 last week...its still play as if I bought it yesterday... ganda parin magbasa ng lens nya...

I'll be posting mine later, since I bought a Pro and a 4K HDR TV last year (and moved) as well.

Ayan! Let's share ideas guys. Since my wife and I have moved to a different place last year, I haven't really put up my gaming set up. Room is too small and I had to do some wall mounting. I asked a my brother-in-law to design custom shelves for my games then I'll have it built by contractor.

Here's my gaming set-up:

Sony 43X8000D 4K HDR Smart TV
PS4 Pro

Yun lang, nasira na yung 360 at Ps3 ko

Living room set-up na medyo cramped, but the viewing distance is perfect for the TV, plus the couch is big enough to lounge around in. I wish we had a coffee table instead of the ottoman, para may proper place ako na pag lagyan ng PS4 Pro ko. Otherwise, this will have to do for now.

Yeah, it's really not ideal We just can't find a place for the ottoman since it's so freaking big (the furniture isn't mine ). I've moved the Pro around, and it used to be in the floor area (with the stand), but ever since I read about the cockroach infestation of PS4's, I don't leave it on the ground even if there's a stand. I'll update it when i update my setup

Yes, the TV automatically detects if a game (or media source) is in HDR format. Some HDR games I've tried are: Uncharted 4, The Last of Us, Ratchet and Clank, NBA 2k17, and Horizon: Zero Dawn.

Alright, even if theres ps4 pro and a TV hdr it wont produce 4k display unless the game is hdr ready, yes?

4k and hdr are two different things, not all games with 4k support have HDR support.

So games like battlefield 1 don't have an HDR mode, but have a higher resolution mode which is upscaled to 4k.

One thing I am able to compare now is the difference between a setup for the living room and for your bed. I find the living room setup more comfortable and immersive for playing. Nakakatamad maglaro kapag nasa kama.
