They could use an advanced version of White Knight Story's battle system, exaggerating the normal block and attack sequences with elaborate movements. Come to think of it, the old trailer does that. But there's still ATB bar that signals when the characters turn is up, and you still pick Lightning's next move, whether that will apply to other characters in your team remains to be seen.

Square-Enix is a pretty huge company so they're more than capable of developing more than one game simultaneously. That said, Melody doesn't exist.

alam ko malaki yung square Enix pero yung main FF designers ay focused sa FFXIII, FFversusXIII
at iba pang SQ games: FFIV DS,Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers, DQIX, Dissidia: Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy Tactics A2: The Grimoire of the Sealed Hole at marami pa

Ganyan naman talaga ang FF series. Pag nailabas na sa Japan, mga a year pa bago mailabas in english version. Let's just pray na sa Jap version ay meron ng english subs and text.

yup! parang sa sinaunang mga .hack, may options n pwede mo palitan ng language voice tapos subs n english.
