I think what Vicious said is that news about Crisis Core were scarce like FFXIII now then a media blowout was released that caught everyone by surprise... just like FFX and Crisis Core.

In short, it is highly probable if we're going to follow hustory that FFXIII's release is sooner than we all think... meaning 2008.

I doubt... halos every issue nga ng JUMP and Famitsu noon merong balita sa FFVII bago pa sabihin ang release date sa japan. Kung sinabi nyang sa US yang tinutukoy nya, baka naniwala pa ako.

Ah, looks like you didn't understand what I was getting at. What I was trying to say is: Square-Enix is usually pretty secratative about their current projects, regardless of how the fans, or media hype it. There is no denying that there's a lot of hype behind ever major Final Fantasy release, but that doesn't change the fact that Square-Enix tells their fans shi*t-all about their game.

Crisis Core went through the same process. While it was hyped, nobody really knew how the game played or looked like 'till a few months before release. All they ever released were pretty CG trailers.

tl;dr version: read my post again and do it properly this time.

Oh, P.S - I don't think FFXIII will come out this year, regardless.

I believe that there's a very small probability that it will come out in the US IF AND ONLY IF the game comes out in Japan this June or July. Sorta Impossible if you ask me.

whatever. What do you mean by your absolute silence ba? silence sa release date o silent sa info ng game? dahil kung sa info ng game, i doubt dahil ng sobrang daming news na nilabas dyan.

Kung ikukumpara ko sa tagalog ang pinost mo, ganito ang pagkakaintindi ko.. "Gusto ko sa babae ang malaki". Malaki ang ano? ang b00bs ba? pero ang talagang ibig sabihin e Malaki ang pang unawa sa mga bagay bagay.

They did the same thing with Crisis Core. Absolute silence and the next thing we knew, the Japanese were playing it! Hopefully by the time this game comes out in Japan, my Japanese will be a little better.

It would help if you read my reply. Square-Enix likes to make their game look mysterious, so the deliberately hold information back about the game play and release date. What you saw with Crisis Core was probably their media-blitz before the game launched.

I don't even know why you're disputing this. Square-Enix doesn't talk a lot about their game until it's absolutely ready. Sure, they give a few interviews here and there but the keep the important information relatively close to their chests. If Square started releasing more info at a constant rate starting I dunno, next week, the chances of a 2008 release would increase dramatically.

So lets just sit back and see how much information the decide to share on the upcoming issue of Famtisu.

pero agree ako kay vicious na hindi lalabas ang FFXIII ngayong taon. I'll take a grain of salt for that issue(na ngayon lalabas FFXIII).

Sana lang wag na to matulad sa FFXII, na four years nilabas after ng announcement.

I think one of the factors why FFXII was delayed is because of the merging of Square and Enix.
