Results: Our treatment protocol increased the serum 25OHD levels significantly to above 30 ng/mL within two weeks. COVID-19 cases (no comorbidities, no vitamin D treatment, 25OHD <30 ng/mL) had 1.9-fold increased risk of having hospitalization longer than 8 days compared with the cases with comorbidities and vitamin D treatment. Having vitamin D treatment decreased the mortality rate by 2.14 times. The correlation analysis of specific serum biomarkers with 25OHD indicated that the vitamin D action in COVID-19 might involve regulation of INOS1, IL1B, IFNg, cathelicidin-LL37, and ICAM1.
Conclusions: Vitamin D treatment shortened hospital stay and decreased mortality in COVID-19 cases, even in the existence of comorbidities. Vitamin D supplementation is effective on various target parameters; therefore, it is essential for COVID-19 treatment.

Super one-sided yung article. Eto reason kung bakit super bagsak na ratings ng mainstream media. The writer did not prove that Ivermectin didn't help. He just praised Japan's 77% vaccination rate which is proven not to work. So many highly vaccinated countries in the West but cases are still high. Sa Uttar Pradesh at mga poor African countries super baba ang mga vaccination rates pero wala halos walang Covid. The writer also dismissed the credibility of the doctor who pushed the use of Ivermectin because that doctor doesn't work for the government. lol that's argument from authority and not how science works.

1st week ng January ay may video si Doc Willy Ong kung ano ang mga gawin at i-take para maiwasan ang Omicron.
Early this week, nagka-covid si Doc Willy Ong.
So kahit yun mga fully vaccinated at health workers na ay na-infect pa rin. Paano pa kaya yun mga unvaccinated.
Pero yun mga tambay dito sa tapat ng bahay ko, araw-araw kumpulan sila dyan, bihira lang ako makarinig ng may inubo sa kanila.
Patibayan lang talaga ng katawan at resistensya.

sa case ni Dr. Ong, mismo sya nag-advise paano umiwas sa covid pero siya rin nagkaroon ng covid.
don't get me wrong sa gusto kong sabihin. todo iwas ka na pero nahawa pa.
sa fully vaccinated, hindi naman gurantee na hindi ka tatablan. at least it would mitigate the effects. meron dito sa amin positive pero asymtomatic, quarantined pa rin. meron din hindi vaccinated pero hospital ang tuloy kasi nga walang vaccine sa katawan.
sa kumpulan na magkakapitbahay na hindi nagakakahawaan, meron talaga malakas ang immune system. pwede nagkaroon pero hindi na napansin kasi walang symptoms. tulad nga nung kapitbahay namin na aymptomatic. kung hindi pa nadetect sa officemate nya na may sakit hindi pa sya malalamang positive. pati mismo pamilya nya hindi nahawa.

^ Mas mahirap pa ngayon dahil nga flu season kaya kung dating trangkaso lang, ngayon ay Covid na kasi nga halos parehas sila ng symptoms.
Ako fully vaccinated na pero nag-positive pa rin last Jan 9 nung nagpa-anti-gen test kami.
^Hindi na alleged ang mga side effects ng Covid vaccines. Lumabas na document from Pfizer mismo ng listahan nila ng mga side effects. Maski DOH may warning na masama ang sobrang vaccines dahil nasa trials pa lang naman.
