Malabong remake since PS2 era siya.. I mean need lang i-remaster sa HD and passable na yung game as a current gen title like ng FFX/X-2 and other PS2 remaster titles.. di na need ng SE gumastos ng malaki for a remake..and baka wala ng PS3 version.. PS4 and PSV ito malamang.. PS4 na ipinupush ng mga devs sa Japan.. and malaki ang naibenta ng FFX/X-2 HD remaster lalo na sa Japan.. nasa 50K lang yata lamang ng PS3 version sa PSV version..

i dont really care how SE is gonna pull this off, as long as they can put this out for vita with decent fps then im good...

I really hope so. this game received so many awards and the story is compelling

FF8? haha me too pero di na ako aasa like Crazyjun, ito ang RPG na natapos ko. As in kina-career ko siya dati. Yung tipong bago labanan si Ultimecia eh lahat level 100, lahat ng magic 100 at items, kumpleto lahat ng cards kahit na-redeem ko uli sa ibang players, 9999 lahat ang hits ng players ko, etc.. Total grind ako nun. Pero sulit sa huli.

Pero remastering/remaking PS1 titles is a sure hard to make. PS2/PS3 titles mas madali.
But i kinda the plot twist of FF8. Those orphaned kids being together battling against their mother-then without any memories of their previous lives.
Yeah, the funny love team of Squall (pakipot) and Rinoa (straightforward and cute).

Ewan ko lang parang until ngayon, parang so-so lang ang turing sa FF8. I know sobrang ganda ng FF7 kaya highly acclaimed siya.

Kahit ako so-so lang story ng ff8 para saken.. pero still na enjoy ko yun game finished it 4 times, likeable pa rin kasi characters

Para sa kin, it was. Although likeable naman sya on its own pero masyado lang kasi naging malakas ang influence ng FF7 gameplay and story-wise. FF8 was released too soon din, in as little as 3 years nilabas na sya so parang in a way it played similar to ff7 with just minor improvements tulad nung junction system, realistically proportioned characters and yung implementation ng card mini-game.

I mean, think about it. Why did ff7 spawned more spin-offs than any other ff title? kasi ff7 single-handedly revolutionized the ff series at naging benchmark sya ng mga succeeding final fantasy titles. Pero honestly lang, instead of a game remake, I would rather see ff8 getting its own movie tulad ng advent children, it would be very interesting to see how squall and the rest of the party are doing after the events that took place after the game.

^well may point ka. Pero kaya siguro hindi maka-explore ang SE ng ibang spin-offs for their other FF games kasi nakikita nila hindi pa nagsasawa ang tao sa FF7 eh. Di mo rin sila masisi kasi sa FF7 may profit eh.

Since confirmed na may FF7 remake na, ano na naman kaya hihilingin ng fans na FF7?

Or Advent Children continuation?

Pero seryoso, I hope SE could explore other spin-offs in their FF franchise. Buti nga yung X may X2 at XII may Lightning Returns.

Solid fan ako ng FF7, no doubt about it pero sa totoo lang its getting tiresome na rin seeing similar titles getting the same treatment, I would prefer SE stop milking the FF franchise altogether and move on to their other IP namely XENOGEARS...

Oo nga no? Anyare sa Xenogears? saka sa Konami yung ZOE... for a country who's the mecha capital of the world, di na nila tinuloy gumawa ng kasunod ng Xeno at Zone

meron naman naging kasunod ang xeno kaso hindi na masyado nag hype katulad nung una...masyado bumenta yung xenogears for one simple reason: evangelion.

I broke my PS2's motherboard with this game's disk inside. Only made it to the first desert or whatever. I'm totally crossing my fingers.
