^According to various sources online, main culprit is cost cutting by konami. Gusto ng konami mag focus sa mobile gaming kasi mas madali ang development while keeping the cost down. It also reaches a much wider audience. But kojima's games proved too costly kaya hindi na ko magtaka kung isa to sa mga gustong alisin and sigurado pinalagan ni kojima yung decision tapos nagkaron ng altercation between him and konami which led to kojima getting the boot. I know its a shock to every fan out there but its business after all and that makes sense.

Here's a fresh article i found which gives us a more clear picture about this speculation:

yeah it's business. pero ganun ba kawalang tiwala ang konami kay kojima? was here a time na nalugi ang konami dahil kay kojima? like production vs. sales? di sa pinagtatanggol ko si Kojima. Kung proven naman over time na sales of MGS games is greater than it's production value like x3, then sana walang problema.

Parang ngayon pa nagduda Konami sa magiging sales ng MGSV unless, kumonti na ang following ng MGS franchise i mean all time low following, baka dun pa maiintindihan ko kung may duda na sa product ang Konami.

malamang sa malamang, baka matagal nang may hidwaan si kojima at konami tapos nasagad na lang talaga...just a wild guess.... :sweat:

I'm not even excited for MGSV, because I really don't like the fulton thing, and Keifer Sunderland voice as Big Boss. Pero I'm still gonna buy it for the story, but not day 1 purchase.

There's even a special message at the end of the mission with Kojima thanking fans for all the support.

Haven't played Ground Zeores in a while. Didn't even know na may mission pala na ganito.

^^Just read the message. That one's pretty vague. But it does kinda make sense.

Haven't played P.T. kahit na-save ko siya. Sobrang natatakot ako haha!

Why go develop that demo (with a known and popular director) knowing na maca-cancel lang pala?

yeah, paulit ulit ko nga binasa at ang labo :sweat: nilagyan na lang siguro ng interpretation para magmukhang "hidden" msg ni kojima regarding his impending departure ..it could very well mean anything relating to his case or even nothing at all...

^^Yeah. This is a Silent Hill demo, after all. Andaming ganyang klaseng message na hindi talaga nagma-make sense.

But that Ground Zeroes mission, though...?

grayfox17 wrote:Kojima may have been the brains behind the fox engine but ownership of it belongs to konami syempre - he was technically employed by konami during the time of the engine's creation. Probably konami got sick and tired of kojima too, i mean, wala nang ibang titles na nilabas yung tao kundi metal gear related IP's over the years, mas nakilala ng gamers ang name ni kojima kesa sa brand name ng konami and as a publisher I would be pissed off too knowing na nasapawan ng isang tao lang and buong image ng kumpanya over the years. Don't get me wrong, I like how kojima turned the MGS franchise into a household name PERO hogging too much of the spotlight is bound to get you some unwanted attention sooner or later.
Or it could've been the other way around. As early as MGS3 laging sinasabe ni Kojima na last metal gear na niya yun pero di naman nangyayare, baka pinepressure den siya ng Konami dahil MGS ang cashcow nila yet gusto ng mag move on ni Kojima sa MGS. The MGS series will always be my favorite pero after MGS5 I'm ready to move on sana lang na remake yung original Metal Gear 1 and 2 bago na disband yung Kojima productions :sweat: and ang masama lang nito baka maapektuhan yung MGO2 sana wag naman :(

Eto rin ang gusto kong I-remake. Maganda story neto lalo na yung MG2. Dr. KIO MARV :2thumbs:

Yeah.. Remake na lang yung MG1 MG2 at kung kaya MGS1. Then MGS no more..

At least he's still updating the fans regardless of his rift with Konami..
MGS3 = I'm in for a remake.

Here's how my expression after finishing MGS games:
MGS1 = It's a great action film. It's epic
MGS2 = wtf? i'm starting to get a headache. It hurts.
MGS3 = I cried....
MGS4 = Finally. What a great ride.

Rumor: Is Black Hound a next Hideo Kojima Game? + Possible MGSVtpp Reference

What the heck is Black Hound? Loads of people will soon be asking this question as speculation has begun on the newly announced horror game, thanks to an enigmatic website with a countdown timer ending on September 11 and an interesting bit of hidden text.

The teaser site for Black Hound doesn’t reveal much at all at this current time aside from a title and announced platforms (Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo’s next platform), but the words “Black Hound – A ##### ###### Game” can be found within the site’s source code. A what game? Well, one belonging to a first word with 5 letters and a second with 6. And I”m sure we all know who the phrase is in reference to …. Hideo Kojima.

Is Black Hound a Hideo Kojima game? Is it his next title after the cancellation of Silent Hills and his possible departure from Konami? Is this the
“Quiet Mountain” Silent Hills replacement? Maybe! But there’s nothing else to go on for now. For all we know this could be a hoax or a poor attempt at garnering hype for a game from a developer not affiliated with Kojima at all. We’ll find out in 12 days…

Update:
Possible Black Hound Reference In Metal Gear Solid V TPP

RelyOnHorror article September 10, 2015

Reddit user u/FRANKOH_ found a recruitable soldier in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain with the name Black Hound, which is also the name of a new game being teased on the website ingsoc.org. The site is remarkable due to a number of things pointing to it possibly being a teaser site for Hideo Kojima’s next game. While I’m not willing to hold my breath on this, it is at least lent a small amount of credibility due to the website’s inception date being from prior Kojima and Konami’s fallout going public.

To be perfectly honest, this is probably just a coincidence, there are literally hundreds of possible names for these soldiers, and they’re just combinations of words. Some don’t even make sense (Looking at you, Death Platypus). We will find out for sure, presumably, when the website’s countdown timer reaches its deadline this Friday.
