X-Men: Dark Phoenix at tsaka Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, back-to-back sa Fox Movies.

Just watched Dark Phoenix to see what the hate was all about and yeah, now I can see why. LOLZ! I felt I was just watching a bad fanfic movie. I just stopped paying attention half-way thru the movie. There's also that part where it seemed they were going for a "shock factor", but was just really bad storytelling. As for Star Wars: TRoSW, while not terrible IMHO, just didn't give me that 'Wow factor' anymore. I don't know. I guess I'm just missing the good old days where the expanded universe had heart. While I didn't get to read the books / novels, I did play some of the games like Dark Forces and Jedi Knight and that PC CD-based one I got free from the Creative Labs "Upgrade Kit" which the name escapes me.

Sonic The Hedgehog (2020). Got this at 50% discount from the "iTunes Store". I had a good laugh here and there. Jim Carrey's portrayal of Dr. "Eggman" Robotnic was actually pretty good IMHO.

TERMINATOR: DARK FATE - Sa Fox Movies uli. LOLZ. Another one of those movies where my expectations weren't that high. But I did watch it until the credits. I guess it was OK-ish? The first 5 minutes was kind of a "WTF moment"

though it sort of explains why the Terminator just walks-off like nothing happened. And nothing did seem to happen after 20+ years. Didn't even start to try accelerating the production of the killing machines, but I guess the machines somehow didn't care after <SPOILERS >. So much for them being "efficient killers".

I'm probably just tired of the reboots. And I speak as a person who still found a little bit of enjoyment from Genisys and the TV series which I hardly remember anymore. Though they probably should have stopped at Salvation. Heck, they should have just stopped at T2. Kudos for Robert Zemeckis for not making another Back to the Future movie (but I did watch the animated TV series back in my teen years) or else it would have been butchered like this. James Cameron should follow that route and stop milking the Terminator franchise.
