Hello, I'm still new to this site and new to online gaming in general. My PS3 is a 40gb asian ver 2.30, I recently installed a Linksys WRT54G wifi router. I installed it and got my PS3 online. I set up a PSN account pero mali ata na hong kong ginawa kong country. mali ba yun? Anyway, I was able to surf na using my PS3, ok na siya but then when I tried COD4 and GH3 the games asked me to download a newer version or something. So i tried it but then the connection would always fail.

I searched around this site and found out that you had to change the DNS settings to 4.2.2.2 and 4.2.2.3 but it still won't work. When I finish inputting ISP etc, it says DNS error 80710102. Worst even, I can't seem to connect to the internet at all. I can't surf anymore, etc.

Help please! Gusto ko sana ma maximize ang PS3 ko. Salamat

woot.. ahmm try mo sir tingnan TEXT SPEAK VIOLATION dns ng desktop pc mo or laptop. Try mo n un TEXT SPEAK VIOLATION gamitin mo sa ps3 mo sir.. hope it works.. kasi TEXT SPEAK VIOLATION 4.2.2.2 and 4.2.2.3 gumana sakin hahaha.. Regards.

Nung una gumana sa akin yung 4.2.2.2 and 4.2.2.3. Ngayon gamit ko na yung nasa OpenDns - Primary 208.67.222.222 , Secondary 208.67.220.220 naka-type na rin sa router ko. Mas gumagana sya, pero paminsan-minsan nakakaranas pa rin ng error.

Kung hindi ako nagkakamali:

1. Depende sa ISP yung dapat mong gamiting DNS. Hindi pa ako nakagamit ng WRT54G, pero sa AirPort Express kita kung anong DNS ang gamit ng router, so kopya nalang sa PS3.
2. Kapag OpenDNS gamit ko before may ilang websites na ayaw bumukas, so balik ako sa default ng ISP.
3. Pwede kang magforward ng ports.
4. Check mo kung anong NAT type. Kung tama tanda ko type 2 dapat at hindi 3.
4. Kapag hindi gumana #s 1-4, most probably server na may problema tulad ng naging experience ko sa MotorStorm. Late ko na kasi nabili yung game, so yung update na kinailangan kong idownload ~220+ MB. Parating error after a few %, so sinubukan ko iba't ibang time periods. 12-1 PM ko nadownload yung update, even if wala naman akong binago sa settings.

Hi,

I'll create PS3 Network specific for the games thread. PS3 Network thread is great, but its kinda too long to add and I only have few games that have 2 online capability. I'll create a post for each PS3 game that has some online capability and I'll add people and games along the way. Be reminded that I'll be adding local players mostly, if you're from outside the Philippines do tell so we could make a separate group for you, also add in your location.

To keep the thread clean, I would suggest that people pm me if they want to add their name or a specific game to the thread. I'm online most of the time, so as soon as I read your pm, I'll immediately edit the thread. That way we could keep the thread 1 page only and will serve as a quick reference to those that would like to add some online friends.

I do hope the admins would help me on this.

Kung dsl or smart bro po TEXT SPEAK VIOLATION try nyo po magpaservice. ask nyo po kung anong pri DNS and sec DNS ang dapat gamitin. bale may router po kayo sir di ba? try nyo po tingnan sir sa desktop pc nyo kng anong nakalagay na primary DNS and secondary DNS, copy nyo TEXT SPEAK VIOLATION po yan sa DNS ng ps3 nyo.. sana gumana po

i just got my jpn ps3 yesterday. I set up a psn account tapos canada nilagay kong country. ano meaning nun? hahaha kasi i heard maraming different psn network eh? tapos pag magoonline gaming ako ano TEXT SPEAK VIOLATION kailangan kong gawin?
