Gusto ko muna maexperience ang low-range budget traveling habang bata pa (or feeling bata pa kasi 28 na ako :bigmouth: ) Karamihan kasi ng low-range budget travelers ay nasa early to mid twenties.
Yan yung mga tipong "if schedule permits" :D

Ito yung Singapore version. Medyo mas malaki nga lang at pwede yata pang bromance.

You're never alone when you travel kasi ang daming solo travelers. Chat with them, befriend them, go with them or bring them with you in your itinerary, etc.

Karamihan rin ng travel bloggers ay solo travelers.

Here are few articles about the benefits of traveling alone. :agree: :2thumbs:

Oh Lord. I don't think being alone while travelling is a problem. In fact, I'd consider it an opportunity. It's just my idea of travel. Meeting people, seeing majestic sights, being part of another culture (minus the food) thus if you do travel with someone you know, it's like you're bringing a part of home which is the complete opposite. Plus, it's kind of hard to do self reflection if you're with someone.

Unfortunately, the closest that I got for a Walter Mitty / Hector and his Search experience is when I took the chance to go home out of a company outing in San Mateo, Rizal. There were literally no public transportation available in the area and the walk out of the sanctuary is a long and steep one. Making it outside, I was alone walking along the highway with pine trees on both sides, sweating even if it was cold, carrying only a back pack and a plastic bottle of Smart C. Phone's batt is empty and even it if was full, there's no coverage in the area. I was hoping that I would reach even a small barrio so I can ask for directions where I can take a ride going back to Cabading where it's familiar ground to me.

In the end, I stumbled upon a small MMDA office (don't ask me why there's an MMDA office there) where they let me stay. They told me that jeepneys are rare at that time and most are coming in from Marcos Highway and not going out to it. I was kind of hoping for a bit more chit-chat but miraculously, a tricycle drove by and offered me a ride. The travel was long still and I was surprised that it only costs 20 pesos. I assume it's per head but I was the only one in the tricycle. It was already dark when I got into a jeepney going back to Marikina and arrived just in time for dinner.

I'd love to be lost again.
