Nintendo and The Pokemon Company have announced Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, due out worldwide for 3DS in November.

Described as a fresh take on the original Pokemon Ruby and Pokemon Sapphire, which launched for Game Boy Advance in 2003, the new titles promise to take players through “a dramatic story within a spectacular new world.”

bawat pokemon kasi iba-iba ang istorya, characters at plot. kahit matapos mo yung istorya madami ka pang task na gagawin gaya ng magcollect at hulihin ang mga legendaries. tapos ang nakaka-adik na part ay yung breeding, online trading at battle. remake siguro improved graphics at online features. pokemon is an RPG game, parang final fantasy series ito ng nintendo

A remake is basically a way to get that generation's pokemon (which are previously mostly unobtainable) into the current generation. In this case, yung pokemon ng third generation (Ruby, Sapphire), pwede na i-trade sa X and Y.

At least I think ganun yung main objective kaya ginagawa to. Nung ginawa kasi yung first remakes (Fire Red and Leaf Green) alam ko yun yung aim, dahil nasa bagong console na yung current generation, at that time from Game Boy Color to Game Boy Advance.

Improved gameplay and graphics, plus added new features...Kasi nung panahon ng say, Sapphire and Ruby, wala pang features like PSS...Maybe the upcoming remakes will feature them, or maybe even new...

Honestly i am not that excited for the remake but if Game Freak will do a new story, then maybe first day buyer na ko ng Alpha Sapphire...
