i'm also anxious about how this game will score in the reviews. been readin a bunch of stuff that killed my hype for it, sana di totoo. hope this gets at least an 8 from the credible review sites.

GTA is GTA..

Does it need to be better than GTA to warrant a purchase? It kinda feels that's a tall order.
Rockstar is known for their open world style. And Ubisoft just attempting to the jump on the same boat.
GTAV scored like 10/10 in some reviews right? And some reviewers said that GTAV is best game ever made. (Unless that reviewer is paid)
I wouldn't expect WD beating the GTAV.

but after trying this out today... GTA VI needs to step up its game....

Good scores all around, some bumps here and there. I expect this game to be the foundational game much like Assassin's Creed 1 was. I think Watch_Dogs 2 will be a much better game, but the franchise is off to a good start.

A little bit of everything daw na Ubi, marami din nag sabi na yung stealth and cover to cover parang Splinter Cell Blacklist din.

Wow, overall good reviews! Tapos gusto ko din talaga kasi fresh yung overall feel ng game...glad i stuck with my preorder and hyped to get home later to play it! Sana lang ok pagkakapackage ng Amazon para di sira yung box ng LE.

Well it's kinda expected. Some game devs at times re-used some old animations. Remember the last COD game re-used old animation for their final scene? I think it's a common practice in the industry. Which shouldn't be a major concern for everybody. I'm not defending Ubisoft though.

We're not talking about simply reusing assets/animations here, but taking a lot of typical 'Ubi' game design choices.

For example, three different ubi games use a similar approach in opening up missions and content within the map:
1. Assassin's Creed - you need to scale a high point to 'synchornize'
2. Far Cry 3 - climbing radio towers
3. Watch_Dogs - infiltrate control centers

The problem is it gets tiring, and people get 'Ubi fatigue' from what seemingly is a re-skin of a typical ubi game mechanic, or some similar mission design. Some people won't mind, but for me, it is already too familiar. I didn't finish Far Cry 3 because I had Ubi fatigue. That is not to say that what Ubi does is bad, but just that it gets tiring, for me at least. At least based on reviews, there's a fair amount of crazy stuff to do in Watch_Dogs to make things seem 'fresh' but I just can't slog my way through an Ubi game anymore, so I'm taking an Ubi break, which is why I'll probably get this game used.

Average score is 8 on most review sites. Ok na rin sa presyo na P2195 for PS3 Standard Day 1 (less P95 kapag cash).
