Nippon Ichi announced Battle Princess of Arcadia for PS3, a new side scrolling action RPG to celebrate the company's 20th anniversary. Previously known as Project Arcadia, in the game you play as the red hair Princess of Schwert Kingdom named Plume, she will battle giant monsters to protect her citizens. The princess will travel to other countries and meet up with Battle Princesses from other kingdoms of the continent of Weltecs. In the game you will be able to obtain 900 different weapons throughout the journey, some weapons will have unique abilities that can be effective against certain types of monsters. Plume can wield her sword, as well as performing melee attacks like aerial kicks.
