The latest game in Namco Bandai’s Dragon Ball series is Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z, a team melee action game for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PS Vita, this week’s Jump reveals.

The game will feature four-player co-operative play, eight-player Battle Royale, online multiplayer, and huge boss battles. Super Saiyan God will also be playable.

Release date and price have not yet been decided.

The last Dragon Ball video game to launch was Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2011. It received mixed to negative reception.

Bandai Namco announced Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z, a team melee action game which will be heading to PS3, Xbox 360 and PS Vita. In the game 2 or more characters will battle in the arena, making it a melee action game instead of versus fighting. There will be multiplayer play modes, including 4 player co-operative, 8 player battle royale, and online multiplayer.

Kailan kaya sila gagawa ng RPG game ng DBZ for PS3? Yun sa SNES pa yun last na nagustuhan ko DBZ RPG.

Eto kaya yung nasa PS1 na japanese. Yung meron meter sa baba kulay red and blue, health bar sa gilid tapos spam ka lang ng spam ng mga kung anu anu hahaha

^mas nahumaling pa nga ako run sa PS1 version na melee game. 2d character sprites tapos 3d yung environment. kesa yung mga fighting game ng DBZ... Pwede pa nga substitution sa PS1 eh...

Tapos kelangan sumunod ka sa original script like let Kuriliin & vegeta be killed by Freeza para ma-unlock mo si SS Goku..

Sana nga kahawig ito nung DBZ legends sa PS1. Yung may 3v3 at may meter nga na red at blue sa baba.
Mas natuwa pa ako dun kesa sa other DBZ fighting games e.

Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z confirmed for western release
New Dragon Ball game promises large-scale co-op battles.

Namco Bandai has confirmed a western release for Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z, its newly announced team melee action game for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PS Vita developed by Artdink.

Currently, only Namco Bandai Europe has confirmed the release, though the company’s North American branch tends to make these announcements later in the day due to the time difference. (Update: Namco Bandai America has confirmed the game for North America, Latin America, and Brazil. On PS Vita, the game will be digital only.)

Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z will offer a “full-featured” solo mode, four-player co-op, and an eight-player battle royale mode. Players will be able to chain together attacks like Meteor Chain to defeat “gigantic foes” like Great Ape Vegeta in “large scale co-operative team melee battles.” It will also have appearances from Special Force and Super Saiyan God.

A release date was not announced.

In the game sometimes you will battle against gigantic opponents like Great Ape Vegeta, in these battles the four players can chain together attacks like Meteor Chain to inflict massive damages to the opponent.
