Tecmo Koei is readying Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita, this week’s Famitsu reveals.

The new release, due out September in Japan, adds new story elements, new characters Xu Shu and Tamamo-no-Mae, and other components like Duel Mode from the Wii U version. Tecmo Koei teases there might also be news on a collaboration character in a followup report.

The game is currently 60 percent complete.

Koei Tecmo announced Musou Orochi 2 Ultimate [Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate] for PS3 and PS Vita, an enhanced version of Musou Orochi 2 which was released last year. The game will have a new storyline and the extra features from the Wii U and PSP version of Musou Orochi 2. There will be new Battle Royale (four player co-op) and Duel Mode, plus a couple of new playable characters, including the Tamomo no Mae, Shennong, Rachel (Ninja Gaiden), Momoji (Ninja Gaiden) and Seimei Abe (Sengoku Musou).

I had Warriors Orochi 3 on PS3. But definitely going to buy this one on Vita. Plus additional characters na nag-appear sa PSP and Wii U. Win for Me.
