Di naman talaga sure if naextract yung mutated virus sa ulo niya makakahanap ng cure. Syempre napamahal na kay joel si ellie. Pwedeng closed na yung game at titira na sila sa settlement ng brother ni joel. Live out their lives siguro.

Pwede din na ellie is ok to die pero noong nakita niya at what lengths ang ginagawa ni joel para mapaniwala siya na meron pa ibang immune sa infection. Kaya siguro di na niya inaway ang nag ok na lang siya.

Strange tho, hindi ba makukuha na lang yung cure sa blood niya since meron siya immunity.

nakakuha kasi ako ng isang "audio recorder" (sorry...) na may kausap si Marlene na patient na immune din.

Di ko rin nakuha yung recorder na yun kaya naman pala sinabi ni joel na hindi lang si ellie ang immune kala ko tinago nalang nya kay ellie yung totoong nangyari hehe. 2nd playthrough ko hanapin na lahat ng collectibles. Salamat mga sir!

i disagree with the decision of Joel pero naiintindihan ko naman siya. that's what makes the game great, hindi yung obvious na solution yung binibigay nila. kahit kontra morals eh lahat in context naman sa situation nila.

on another note, yung kumidnap kay ellie, what's his deal? cannibal ba sila sa camp na yun bakit may chinochop siya na katawan? ano ba siya, pedophile bakit trip na trip niya si ellie? tsaka may isang henchmen dun na sabi parang dapat di na daw nila iniindulge si leader nila. meaning? may sexual thingy ba siya kay ellie?

Yes i think cannibal group yung naka capture kay Ellie. Kasi meron scene na may chinochop na tao (behind bars si Ellie). Tapos nung si Joel na control mo, meron area na mga naka bitin na tao/cadavers, and may collectible na listed yung "weight" in lbs/pounds ng mga na hunt nila (implied as mga tao).

Im not sure kung pedophile yung leader?

meron one time ginawa ko yung generator, pero lahat ng infected di pumunta sa akin, lahat nasa baba lang, tawa ako ng tawa noong ginawa ko yun. Planado pa yun, nag plant ako ng mga bombs sa path ko pero di naman ako pinansin so pinulot ko ulit at tumakas na.

Favorite moment in the game hands down is the boss fight against david! That sequence made me want to poop my pants!

Next would be the hotel basement after the generator was turned on! Lalabanan ko pa dapat lahat tapos nakakita ako ng big boy na sumugod takbo kaagad ako eh!

Best game I've ever played hands down, and I really felt sad that Ellie changed in terms of personality at the latter part of the game (after winter). No one should ever have to endure that.

Ang onti ng monsters. Runner, clicker at bloater lang. Best chapter ko yung ginamit ko si ellie. Puro pana lang ako at headshot lagi. Sarap maging silent hunter. By the way ang haba nung game. Akala ko tapos na pero meron pa pala. Yung recorder na tinutukoy ng mga tao dito hindi ko nakuha. Ma check nga ulit pag uwi ko.

New Game + na ako tapos subukan ko survival mode. Taena naka disable daw R2 hahaha

Also when david revealed himself to Ellie, sobrang natakot talaga ako. That cutscene was so horrifying, I didn't know what to expect.

Marlene continually spoke about "Ellie would want this" and "Ellie would support this" and "This is what she would want!"

Remember when Ellie and Joel were at the college science center and she specifically asked Joel, "you don't think it will hurt, do you? I mean when they get the cure from me?" and he said, "no, it'll probably just be some blood tests and a few shots" and she replied how she had been given vaccinations/shots when in school.

She clearly was not planning on being cut up so her brain could be experimented on. She also seemed to think that they were going to use her blood samples to make a cure, an actual and absolute cure, not a mere vaccine. This might be some of that naive young girl showing through, since an older person with more experience wouldn't conceive of the possibility of curing a stage 2, stage 3, stage 4, etc, infected. There's no way to reverse the physical and neurological damage done by the time a person/infected becomes a clicker, let alone a bloater. Maybe Ellie simply misspoke and she meant vaccine but she used the word cure.

At any rate, she was concerned about being hurt in the procedure; she asked Joel if she thought it would hurt.

She also spoke about the future, along the lines of, "when we get this thing with the Fireflies taken care of, I want to learn how to swim."

A girl planning on being cut up for medical experiments wouldn't talk about the future or make plans for the future.

Marlene knew full well that Ellie did not want to sacrifice herself on the OFF CHANCE that they somehow get a vaccine. The best scientists in the remnants of the USA, be they military/government or fireflies spent years working on cures, vaccines, treatments, and nothing ever panned out, nothing meeting anything that even began to approach success.

The Fireflies/Marlene are also quick to jump right into the idea of "well we need to cut her open now! let's kill her and remove her brain."

It never occurred to them to perform some procedure that might not kill her, such as having a neuro-surgeon [they seem to have lots of surgeons around, at least one of them has to be a brain/neural specialist] carefully drill into the skull and remove a sample/culture of the spore from her brain without damaging the surrounding brain damage, they just want to jump right into killing her and removing her entire brain to dissect it.

They're ready to kill an innocent girl, against her will, on the off-chance that they obtain a vaccine, not even a cure that reverses stage 1 [where minimal physical changes have occurred], but just a mere vaccine that will prevent further infections [although it won't prevent people being torn to shreds by clickers].

If they were to get their vaccine, how would they distribute it? I don't see much existing in the way of national transportation infrastructure... How would they mass produce it? Would they ask folks such as the David's Cannibal crew and the Pittsburgh hunters to stand in an orderly line and receive their vaccine? For the most part humanity is gone and it cannot come back. People who have turned to cannibalism, murder, rape, looting, pillaging, hunting others for their shoes, a vaccine is not going to bring them back into the fold such that they can help to re-light the torch of civilization.

On the re-imagined series of Battlestar Galactica, Bill Adama remarked, "it is not enough to survive, one has to be worthy of survival."

In the world 20+ years after the initial outbreak, humanity has shown itself that it is largely not worthy of survival.

Joel knows what Ellie wants, she wants to live and to try to have as normal a life as possible, whatever normal means in this insane world of dog eat dog. I believe she would like to become a party of the community where Joel's brother is and she clearly is thinking about the future [wanting to learn to swim for instance].

Basically 70% of the world died in 2013, either becoming infected or being torn to shreds by the infected, and by 2033 it seems that the world population might very well be measured in the tens of millions, which would be quite a drop from 6.5-7 billion. But not only that, about 2/3rds of the survivors are raiders, hunters, cannibals, monsters, in short they're worse than the infected. The infected are out of control animalistic beasts acting as they do because of their infection; the cannibals have no excuse for hunting down others and slaughtering them for food. With the manpower the cannibals have they could almost certainly plant crops in a fashion similar to the group led by Maria and Tommy in Wyoming. The same goes for the hunters in Pittsburgh. They could very easily have roof-top gardens in the city and they are blessed with many rivers/bodies of water in their area which have an abundance of fish, but they choose to hunt people down and kill them for a can of tuna and a pair of shoes.

The world is better off with Ellie alive, even if it means no vaccine. The only people who would immediately and directly benefit from the vaccine would be the Fireflies and whoever bows to their power or is strong enough and organized enough to overpower them and take the vaccine from them. Joel knows that Ellie wants to live and he knows that the majority of humanity in 2033 is not worthy of survival and that it is not worth sacrificing Ellie for the sake of Hunters and other assorted trash POSSIBLY being able to receive a vaccine.

Si Nolan North pala yung nag boses dun, galing ng voice acting! And yung boss fight with david sobrang galing, felt so powerless the entire winter scenario while using ellie. Definitely added a whole lot of tension to the game!

Ako din, favorite moment ko yung nireveal ni david na tauhan niya yung mga pinatay nila. Sobrang bilis tibok ng puso ko nun eh, thrilling! Haha

Best portion of the game for me was winter season.
Special mention din dun sa part na tumakas si ellie sa dam ni tommy tapos nagheart to heart si joel and ellie.i got emotional sa part na yun
