Nintendo Wii U Thread

Lol.....I just recently sold my Nintendo Wii U online...ready to be shipped Monday to the East Coast.

Not alot of support for it in regards to quality games, and it has been gathering dust in the living room
haven't used it in weeks....

Need to make time and room for either the PS4 or 720.

Will eventually buy a Wii U unit again when the price goes significantly down and more decent games come out.

Good to actually make a decent profit on the Deluxe bundle, there is still demand for it.
So had to dispose of it before the price goes down. Did the same thing with my PS3 units before
the PS4 meeting/announcement. The online prices of PS3 units have gone down since then....

Also thought of selling my PS3...pero hindi kasi backwards compatible ang PS4 so I didn't mind keeping it.

On the Wii U not, I almost thought of buying it just for Zombie U. kaya lang after kasi nun parang wala na akong ibang games na gusto pa. Might as well wait for the PS4 or the new Xbox.

I'll probably sometime in the future get another Wii U again,
but most likely 2nd hand and when the price drops after the PS4 and 720 have established themselves.
I have not lost hope in Nintendo giving us more and better Wii U games.....

medyo humina na demand ng wii u, all DB branches i've been to complete pa stock basic and deluxe, pati wala rin nagtatanong tungkol sa wii u. dami bumibili ps3 and 360 stuff.

wait and see muna ako sa wii u, opted for the 3ds xl muna sigurado na support doon.

parang naaawa ako sa nintendo...kasi di pa rin sila ganun ka suportado ng mga third party developers,,,yung mga next gen engine di daw gagana sa wii u...tulad ng frosbite 3 saka unreal 4

I really don't see people buying the Wii U for 3rd party games like GTA, COD, Battlefield, you buy Nintendo systems for Nintendo games like Mario, Zelda, Pikmin etc..

Oo nga eh..lalo na dahil yung mga 3rd party titles are more at level with currebt gen ps3s and xbox. Siguro ang dagdag man na readon to buy games for it is if you want to make use of the controller but even that is a hit or miss for gamers.

I think you buy the wii u for the first party titles that are really making use of all the features that the wiiu has to offer especially the tab/controller.

Honestly i'm only attracted to it because of Zombie u, other than that I'm not seeing any other game i'd like to play on it. ^^

i wanna play zombiu but the reviews stating the tediousness of using the cricket bat again and again and again the WHOLE game made me lose interest

on 3rd party games using frostbite3 or unreal4 engine, yes wii u is primarily for 1st party nintendo games but don't forget nintendo is touting the gamepad as the revolutionary device/gimmick in which it differentiates itself from ps4/720, the 3rd party games is nintendo's chance to show what it can offer differently gameplay wise compared to ps4.

for me 3rd party games could show what wii u can do for a whole another level for fun vs ps4/720's plain gamepad controls since those games will be directly compared to ports for ps4/720. that's a huge blow for 2 engines to not support wii u.

Sa Wiiu talagang yung controller niya yung maghihiwalay sa kanya from other consoles. Kaya sa mga gamers, either you like it (to make you buy it) or not realy care for it (to make you pass up). Aside from the controller, ang talagang bibili nito yung mga casual players na mahilig sa mga games na katulad ng inilabas sa Wii like yung Wii sports, etc and of course the followers of Zelda / Metroid and other Nintendo first party games.

Read somewhere that there are retail stores sa US that have bundled the basic unit with Nintendoland at no extra cost

17k seems to be an excellent price already... Yun nga lang when I think about the PS4 & XBOX720 parang yun din ang eventual "regular price" that I have in mind

Lol..ito ang reklamo ng mga NA gamers ngayon, after zombie U and Monster Hunter, wala na masyado malaro para sa WiiU. Pakiramdam ko tuloy eh medyo premature ang release ng Nintendo sa bagong console nila.
