He’s talking about the Vita version of Need for Speed: Most Wanted, which is being shown for the first time at Gamescom, and it’s no surprise he’s happy about what the development team has achieved with the game.
Incredibly, the Vita version of Need for Speed: Most Wanted is essentially the same as the PS3 and Xbox 360 games. “Everything from what we the ‘TV game’ is here on the small screen,†he announces. And when he says everything, he means it – every highway, back street, bridge and tunnel. All of the cars, the meet-ups, the challenges and the drive-through garages – they’re all in the game, and importantly they haven’t been cut down or changed to fit the Vita.
“This is pretty much the PS3 version of the game shoehorned onto Vita very tightly,†he continues. “This is a very technically ambitious thing to do - there aren’t any open-world games on Vita so far. To keep the world the same, to not make any compromises – that’s what we’ve done.â€

gameplay yes, graphics don't think so since the PS3 is more powerful
edit: wait a minute, I thought the link was on a console version lol no idea about the iOS version, but Criterion has said the Vita version will be the same as console versions, try to read the link from IGN

anyways they have played the game to the press only, and they say it looks really good, we just have to take their word on it

NFS Most Wanted: an uncompromising version of Vita
Still in the shadow versions of PC and home consoles, Need for Speed: Most Wanted on PlayStation Vita was still entitled to some information. Unsurprisingly, the game will resume most of the other editions, whether the playing field, cars, content ... In short, no compromise apparently, according to Alex Ward (Vice President of Criterion) the best racing game on Vita. For this year 2012 in any case. It is a pity that despite the presence of Autolog, developers do not support cross-play option, to begin his part of the Vita and continue on PS3 (or inverserment ). Same thing on the Cross Buy, noting that nothing is final yet about this. Finally, side features unique to the console, EA will in simplicity, leaving aside the gyroscope (useless anyway) and a Driving to the touch screen, our little fingers on the screen using the HUD to change. To wait for a first trailer.
