it's not for everyone. if you have seen ridley scott's previous works, then at least you'll have an idea of what to expect. it's no "Alien".
super dragging first half. suspense builds up during the second half, but not as much as you'd hope. a few plot holes. a little predictable.
nonetheless, i still like the movie. superb visuals. great acting. ang hot ni charlize theron! philosophical/religious undertones. LAST SCENE!!!

Mabagal yung first half and then sobrang daming nangyari sa second half, it's easy to get overwhelmed. Also, you'd appreciate the movie more if you first watch (or at least remember) the other Aliens movie. Kung hindi ko alam na parang indirect prequel yung Prometheus ng Aliens, I'd go "wtf diba sa Aliens yun?!" like the group of guys who sat behind me yesterday
Kaya naging slow iyun first part ng movie since it dealt heavily with the theoretical. Kung hindi ka interested sa Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence, mabobore ka talaga. Ako kasi I read a lot on that subject so it was interesting to see it on film.
Gusto ko iyung spaceship nila. Imagine 2 years ka nandun with all the movies and video games you can play
to elaborate: they introduce things new to the franchise and expands on the universe, whether for good or ill, and at the same time has some throwbacks/parallels to their original classics. all movies have the characters doing illogical, inconsistent and sometimes stupid things. prometheus has superior acting by the lead actors though, especially rapace and fassbender of course. and all are visually impressive in their own way.
Nagpunta ako sa SM kanina and pauwi na sana ako kaso inabutan ng malakas na ulan.. so nanood na lang ako ng sine.. wala ng prometheus.. ang choices na lang are Special Forces (2D).. Snow White (2D) and Kimi Dora.. so Special Forces na lang pinili ko kasi naka 2D.. ok din sana Kimi Dora baka matawa ako and andun si Alodia.. Pero sa totoo lang wala ako sa mood manood so feeling ko kahit ano panoorin ko di rin ako mag eenjoy masyado.. talon na ako sa dulo.. nag enjoy ako sa Special Forces.. Ganda pa rin ni Diane Kruger.. and muntikan na ako mapaluha kay Amistad/Djimon Hounsou.. Medyo hawig siya sa Tears of the Sun ni Bruce Willis and siguro pwedeng may antukin sa ilang parts ng movie.. pero over all maganda talaga siya.. 8.0/10 personal rating ko.. french movie talaga ito and most lines ng mga artista english dubbed lang..
