oo nga ang weird nung bourne legacy. nagteteleport si bourne

...tayo lang naman nakaka alam nun. hehehe. pero sabi sa mga reviews, maganda nga daw yung motorcycle chase dito sa manila. nabitin ako kala ko pa naman mahuhuli sila nila edward norton tapos makakatakas ulit sila para sa ending talaga.

bitin nga.. and to be honest.. nung dito na sa manila yung scene parang pati yung acting nila JR pumangit.. parang nawala yung pagiging natural ng acting nila.. astig lang talaga yung chase scene..

nung pinapanood ko yung bourne legacy, dun sa simula nung nasa alaska pa si cross, nagtaka ako bakit sya tumalon sa puno. naglagay pala sya ng trap para dun sa lobo. napaka-random kasi ng pagka-edit ng bit na yun sa movie. may pagka-the grey yung start nya. kaaway nya mga lobo.

disappointed ako sa movie. taas kasi ng standard na naset nung original trilogy.

the bourne legacy Doesn't work for me.

ewan ko ba basta kulang eh. walang "WOW!"

^same here re bourne legacy. as a stand-alone movie siguro, passable, but when viewed along the first 3 films, talagang lacking. iba yung dynamic nung original trilogy, with bourne searching for who he really is. yung mga CIA/NSA o kung ano mang govt suits sa unang mga films, very interesting ang characterization nila. si edward norton, di ko masyadong gets anong stake nya sa mga events ng legacy. unlike sa mga unang movies na yung mga suits talaga ang pasimuno behind the whole treadstone/blackbrier thing. si pamela landy, ganda rin ng character nya kasi sa 2nd movie kasi she was someone on the outside looking in and when she got a hold of the info about bourne, she didn't want any part of it and even helped bourne find out who he really is by leading him back to the place where it all started.

yung mga intense hand-to-hand combat/cqc sa mga unang films wala sa legacy. puro mga sikyo at pulis mga binugbog ni cross.

nakakainggit naman yung biyahe sa Bourne Legacy.. una nasa tondo lang sila naglalakad.. sumunod nasa mrt taft na.. lakad konti nasa tramo na.. then avenida.. tapos biglang nasa sta. mesa na.. then legarda tapos quiapo area..tapos warp sa marikina then warp ulit sa navotas..

overall ok naman siya highlight talaga yung vehicle chase scene dito sa manila..

Sana ganun din in real-time. Madali makapunta ng Marikina pag galing EDSA Taft at Sta. Mesa.

Nabitin din ako Bourne Legacy. Maganda naman kaso nakulangan ako sa sapakan lalo dito sa Manila.

Pero I liked the Bourne Legacy. Maybe because I really didn't expect much.

I also didn't expect Moby's Extreme Ways to be played at the end credits.

Guys, Dark Knight ulet ako...

Dun sa mga previous points about Bane and Talia's origins, eto po ang tinatawag na "Plot device".

Something na laging ginagamit ni Nolan (Memento, The Prestige, Inception, Batman Trilogy, etc) para sa whole plot nya at mag-illicit ng emotional or intellectual feedback mula sa manonood.

Memento, kelangan mapanod ninyo, hirap iexplain yung plot devices dun eh.

Katulad ng Inception, yung spinning top sa ending, it doesn't matter kung ano ang ending na maisip ng bawat isang nakapanod, ang importante nakapag-tanim sya ng "idea" sa isip natin. As a result, mas malakas yung impact nung movie.

Katulad sa The Prestige, laging sinasabi ni Christian Bale na ang Magic eh hindi lang simpleng act, kundi isang "way of life", kaya nagulat tayo at meron pala syang kakambal. Hindi niya explicit na sinabi, pero yung flow ng plot yung realize ng twist na yon.

Dun sa The Dark Knight Rises, inimply lang naman ng narration na yung bata na nakatakas eh si Bane, pero hindi naman talaga sinabi or na-confirm ni Bane or kung sino man na sya nga talaga yun. Si Talia lang nung na-reveal na yung twist.

Tsaka ever since nagstart ang Batman Begins, hindi nako umasa na accurate ang movie according sa comics. Whether 10% accurate or 90% pa, i don't care because "In Nolan I trust"...

^ Being a comic reader like me, I don't mind much about the the movie referring to the comics wag lang maging parang binaboy na yung movie gaya ng sa Batman and Robin gay movie! As long as the characters have been given justice. Isang movie lang jan na magsalita si batman ng words gaya ng "cool!", "awesome!", "amazing!" or "Dude" Wtf?! ~!@#$$%$#..

I hate to be the bearer of bad news. And i know i can be reprimanded for this post but here goes...

My wife and i were walking around a tiangge in our subdivision. I came across a stall that sells not so legit movies. I was approached by the person attending the stall. 'sir, meron po kaming totoong bluray copy ng avengers' he showed me a copy. The case was your typical bluray case. Similar to ps3 games since it was white. It even had a sticker that said. 25gb 1080p.

I asked how much it was... He said 350. Knowing that this was too expensive for non legit dvd copies and at the same time ridiculously cheap for an orig dvd, curiosity got the best of me.

I asked him to play the movie on his dvd player. It would not play. So obviously, this was either a busted disk or an actual bluray copy.

I purchased the said copy. And i said that if it doesnt play on the ps3, i would return it.
I got home, played it on my ps3. It was read as a bluray disk, not dvd. The disk played, complete with a trailer of other movies, bonus features, etc. And the movie itself was true enough what you would expect from bluray.

Yes folks... Bluray piracy is upon us. Major blow to all original bluray sellers and collectors out there. I myself own a small library of originals. All of which were pdvd purchases.

Sana kahit ganito na ang nangyari, go legit pa rin tayo.

I don't think this'll affect BluRay collectors that much. Matagal nang merong mga BluRay Rips na torrents pero marami pa ring bumibili ng orig na blu rays.

Anyway, let's keep the discussion on Blu Ray piracy clean. Discussions on where to get pirated blu rays or the advantages of pirated blu rays will not be allowed here.

Yup. I knew that i when i first signed up to this forum and after reading the rules and regulations almost 5 years ago.

For the record, my post was intended to promote knowledge, not encourage - as clearly stated on the first line and the last 3 lines.

Will still continue to buy original titles as attested by the p1500 bluray copy of the avengers i bought from astrovision.
Sorry for it being a bit OT on this thread. It just came up based on the discussion on all these superhero movies we've had lately.

Anyway, back on topic:

Final Film in The Hobbit Trilogy Slated for July 18, 2014

Warner Bros. Pictures and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures jointly announced today that the final film in Peter Jackson's trilogy adaptation of the enduringly popular masterpiece "The Hobbit," by J.R.R. Tolkien, now titled The Hobbit: There and Back Again, will be released worldwide on July 18, 2014.

The Studios also announced the title of the second installment in the franchise, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, which will be released on December 13, 2013.

The first film in the trilogy, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, opens this holiday season, on December 14, 2012.

Shot in 3D 48 frames-per-second, the trilogy of films will be released in High Frame Rate (HFR) 3D, other 3D formats, IMAX and 2D.

yung battle nila Jill and Alice? Kung yun for me yun yung ok na part.. yung ending na cornyhan ako nag-ala LoTR na invasion scene sabi pa naman end na ito.. astig yung 3D effects sa simula.. tapos di ko na masyado naramdaman ulit aside sa mga lumilipad na bala and blood splatter.. pati yung tinapon ni alice yung scythe.. bago ba mag simula yung movie pinakita din sa pinanooran niyo yung trailer ng DMC?
