there is no ring out in PSABR, that is one clue that this isn't a Smash Bros clone

and people should play the game first before criticizing it, the Supers only kill works very well, you have to get in the action and build up your AP gauge or you will never win the match, there is kill stealing in a sense here

and there is nothing like Parappa air juggling Kratos haha I did it to one Kratos and combo juggled him several times in the air

it's because when you say it's a clone it means it's an exact copy, have you played PSABR and Smash Bros? then tell me if it's a clone or not

first of all in Smash Bro, it involves knocking off people off the stage, in PSABR, you can only kill via a Super

it's just a matter of a costume, there is actually a very cool black/red Kratos in the Beta now, looks more badass than the original lol

...ganto lang yan eh, nag clone ka ng isang tao pero di naman necessarily na pati style nung tao magagaya nung clone. pwede nya ibahin pananamit nya at porma. ganun din ginawa sa psabr.

may mas tamang term siguro sa clone o copy.

ako naman, opinion ko dito, naka 2 smash bros na ako. medyo nauumay na ako kasi single player lang ako madalas dun, kahit sa brawl, kaya skip muna ako dito.

kung hindi lang problema ang oras at pambili.

...pang multiplayer talaga gantong game, lalo na siguro dito dahil mas madami ang nag oonline.

ok, let's do it this way, what are some things that PSABR copied.from Smash? aside from the battle royale theme

I don't have a copy of PASBR right now so I'll just base may comparisons on gameplay videos. I only have Smash Bros Melee and Brawl.

1. Smash Bros has a lot of Nintendo characters. PS All-Stars has a lot of PS characters ranging from PS1 games (Parappa, etc). Some characters are built for fighting, some are just platformers and look too cute to hurt. Good thing PS All-Stars has more 3rd party characters.

2. Smash Bros has 4 players. PS All-Stars has 4 players too. I wish PS All-Stars could have up to 7 players since the PS3 is capable of 7 controllers.

3. The stages in both games are in 2D space. Smash Bros has pits though. There are things moving in the background but they don't really affect the players' fighting.

4. Super moves such as 1st person (Smash Bros - Fox, PS All-Stars - Radec) shooting only started in Smash Bros Brawl. Nintendo also copied the super move thingy from other fighting games such as Capcom. And is there are fighting game without some sort of super move?

I'm not saying that PSABR is bad because it copied Smash Bros' formula. I think every game has copied other games in the past too (over the shoulder aiming in shooters and action games, regenerating health, level up of characters, dashing in fighting games, stealth moves, covered shooting, etc).

I like Fat Peach and Parappa, my favorite level is the LBP one where it changes into a Buzz level where you have to stand on the correct platform to answer the question or else a pie comes to splat you lol

can't wait for the 1vs1 mode, it would become a proper fighting game in its own right, Radec vs Kratos would be an interesting match, a long range fighter vs a close range one

Na-excite naman ako noong nakita ko na Open Beta na ang PASBR on the PSN. Then I saw 'for PS+ users'.
