Dengeki this week has first details on Dokuro, GungHo and Game Arts’ new PlayStation Vita title teased earlier this month.
Dokuro is a side-scrolling action game. As a character called Dokuro, players must rescue a princess from her prison. Dokuro can transform into a cool/good-looking person, which allows him to carry the princess and attack enemies.
The game will be released as a packaged title in Japan. A demo is planned.
GungHo Online Entertainment and Game Arts have shared the first screenshots of Dokuro, their new PlayStation Vita side-scroller.
Additionally, it’s launched an official teaser site for the game, which pegs it as a “gimmick action†title. http://dokuro.gungho.jp/
In Dokuro, players take on the role of Dokuro, who must help rescue a princess from the devil’s castle. He has both “Skull†and “Handsome†modes, each with their own different skill sets. To change modes, you must double-tap the PlayStation Vita’s rear touch pad. The game, itself, sports chalkboard-style visuals.
