Zero Escape director teases third entry

The third game in the Zero Escape series, which includes 999: Nine Persons, Nine Hours, Nine Doors and Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward, is in the works, according to game director Kotaro Uchikoshi.

Uchikoshi has been sharing first details about the game with fans on Twitter.

(Warning: The following content should be considered spoilers for those who have not played 999 and Virtue’s Last Reward.)

“Junpei will appear as a participant in the next game,” he said in one update.

“Of course, Phi [will] appear,” he said in another. “But [the] REAL Luna… has not been made yet in the 3rd. The original should appear.”

In a third update, he confirmed Junpei will appear “as a young figure” again.

But the wait for part three might be long. “Sorry,” he tweeted. “Plz wait a while.”

Yup, yun nga! Akala ko noon eh talagang may sagot, had to search the message boards to find out na hindi pala talaga makukuha yung password sa playthrough na yun. Akala ko may namiss kasi ako dahil dun sa flashback eh!

Basta may Lock yung path ibig sabihin kelangan mo balikan yun after playing other paths... makikita mo sa Event Map na mawawala yung lock kapag nakita mo na yung sagot dun sa Lock na yun

Ah ok! Hehe, salamat sa tip bro! Hindi ko kasi napansin na may lock pala siya dun sa flow chart eh. So far parang mas masuspense para sa akin yung 999, mas may depth yung story pero siguro dahil lang din nakakaunang playthrough pa lang ako. Medyo hindi ko pa talaga masundan kung sino yung tunay na killer eh...parag andaming possibilities na iba iba yung killer at kung sino talaga si Zero this time around!

Finally got to the true ending. Ayos talaga A definite must-play if you've finished 999. I can't get my siblings to play this one though. Medyo text heavy daw kasi

Ganda ng twists, although mas malaking mindfuck yung 999 para sa akin, pero baka kasi similar yung twists ng VLR sa Steins;Gate at Ever 17 na visual novel kaya I kind of saw it coming. Nevertheless, it was one hell of a ride. At nandun pa si June! Siya pa naman paborito ko sa 999 kahit... well... alam na natin kung ano siya dun...
