Falcom today launched a teaser site for their upcoming PlayStation Vita port, Legend of Heroes: Zero no Kiseki Full Voice Version.
Aside from a Crossbell State Police Department badge, there’s not much to see on the site. Though it mentions a presentation to be held of February 9 at 18:00, which you’ll be able to watch live on Nico Nico. http://live.nicovideo.jp/watch/lv79191993

First details on the PlayStation Vita version of Legend of Heroes: Zero no Kiseki have surfaced through this week's Dengeki PlayStation.
While the game was originally announced under the placeholder name of "Full Voice Version," the final name is Legend of Heroes Zero no Kiseki Evolution.
There's more to the game than just full voice. The Vita version adds mini games, and ups the visual presentation. Visual changes include animated character shots during conversation scenes, and improved water, shadow and depth-of-field effects.
The added voice does seem to be a substantial component of Evolution. Over 150 characters have voices now. Lloyd alone takes up 1,200 pages of dialogue. An interview in the magazine reveals that recording may take up to two months.
Other new features include a brand new opening and new music arrangements.
As previously hinted, the game is being developed by Pyramid. Falcom previously announced a 2012 time frame for release, but Dengeki updates this to Summer.
Falcom is holding a press conference for the game on the 9th. We should get additional details then.
The game will also have new sub quests.
Other Vita specific features include Vita-like controls and Trophy support. The Vita-like controls are just for mini games at present. Nakano specifically mentioned things like gyro controls and rear touch controls.

Falcom, Kadokawa Games, Chara-Ani, and Patapon developer Pyramid are working on an enhanced port of The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Zero for PlayStation Vita. Kadokawa Games licensed Trails of Zero from Falcom and will publish the game. Chara-Ani is producing the title, and Pyramid is making it for Vita.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Zero Evolution will have full voice acting for the main story. On a Nico Nico live stream, Falcom said 157 characters will have speaking roles in Trails of Zero Evolution. Falcom also rearranged 74 songs and made a new opening for the game.
Pyramid upgraded the graphics for The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Zero Evolution and adde new sub quests tied to a storyline written by Daisuke Tazawa for players that completed the game on PSP. A few mini-games that make use of Vita’s hardware were added too. You can play darts, clock memory, and a Kororinpia style rolling game that has players tilt the handheld to roll marbles through a maze. Players can also select menu items using the touch screen.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Zero Evolution is slated for release this summer and will retail for 6,040 yen ($78) in stores or 5,040 yen ($65) on PlayStation Network.
Dengeki PlayStation reveals a more specific August release time frame for The Legend of Heroes Zero no Kiseki Evolution this week. The PlayStation Vita RPG was previously announced with a summer time frame.
The magazine also shows images from the game's new opening animation, and has first details on a limited edition that will include a Nendoroid figure.
cute nung figurineChara-Ani will bundle The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Zero Evolution in a special box set. For 9,800 yen ($121) you get the PlayStation Vita game, a cleaning cloth, pouch, drama CD, soundtrack CD (that’s different from the launch bonus), and an Arianrhod petit nendoroid.
Pyramid, developer of the Patapon games, is making The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Zero Evolution. Evolutions include upgraded graphics, mini-games that use Vita’s hardware features, and a storyline written by Daisuke Tazawa. The game is slated for release in Japan this August.

Falcom CEO Toshihiro Kondo and Pyramid CEO Takashi Nakano discussed Legend of Heroes Zero no Kiseki Evolution in a nearly five minute video released by Sony today as part of the PlayStation Vita Game Heaven video series. The video includes a few bits of gameplay from the updated Vita port, so be sure and take a look below.
In the video, Kondo reveals a few bits about the game, including:
Evolution was originally planned for PSP. However, there were concerns about the limits of UMD space.
Zero no Kiseki lends itself well to Vita, as Falcom has high resolution versions of the game's art resources.
Unfortunately, the two did not share a final release date. Falcom previously said that the game would be released in August. (In Japan)

Patapon developer Pyramid is bringing The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Zero Evolution to PlayStation Vita and they are polishing the game’s graphics. Character portraits should look more alive since they move their mouths and blink their eyes. The cast is more talkative too, 157 different characters have voiced lines in Trails of Zero Evolution.
Since Vita has a bigger screen, Pyramid enhanced the background effects too. You will be able to see water gently move and light/shadow effects.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Zero Evolution also has a new animated opening.
