Sa mga nabasa at napanood ko na interviews. The game can be played by itself, the story can stand on it's own. But ofcourse, the experience will be better if you have a save file of the first game. Because the decision you made on the first game will affect some of the story on the 2nd game.

I finished the original and unpatched Witcher 1 before despite the bugs and long loading times. I just really loved the story. I even picked up the Steam Enhanced version last Xmas.

I want to buy Witcher 2 right away but nowadays I just have so little time to really sit down and immerse myself in an RPG. Maybe I'll snatch this game when it goes on sale. For now, I'm still stuck with unfinished games on my PC (Lost Planet 2, Dragon Age 2, Mirror's Edge). Heck, I'm not even done with my repeat playthrough of Witcher 1!

You meant the first game? Nope cancelled na yung plans to release "The Witcher: Rise of the White Wolf".

Like what owen17 said PC Exclusive yung game. If you heard anything that it was suppose to come out in the console then they were likely referring to the witcher: rise of the white wolf.

maybe this is why i'm not so hyped up with LA Noire's upcoming release, dahil sa Witcher 2, sakto tapos na ako sa challenge tower ng MK, rpg muna

hope my pc rig can handle this max graphical settings since gamesradar's review stated the steep graphic power needed

^^Ako alam ko di kaya ng PC ko ang max settings. I'm happy if it can handle mediums settings lang.
