My understanding sa kwento ng inFamous:

Back in Kessler's timeline, yung First Sons ang gumawa talaga ng Ray Sphere with Alden as their leader. Maybe they took volunteers on whom to test the Ray Sphere with. Kessler was the best and it granted him powers.

After sometime, pinakasalan niya si Trish, then the Beast appeared and massacred everyone. Trish died with his children. Kessler went back in time to accelerate the production of the Ray Sphere, taking over Alden's position.

He made this elaborate plan to make himself (the Cole we know) a ruthless person to take on the Beast.

Ang tanong ko na lang is why he went to such extreme to elaborate a plan to kill the Beast. Couldn't he just kill the Beast himself and not get everyone involved?

The Beast was too strong for him..so he went back in time to make his past self stronger..

Yes, pero since nakabalik na siya sa past. Pwede naman siya nalang mismo ang maghunt kay Beast before it's too late. Imbes na si Cole ang palakasin niya, sarili na lang niya. Am I making sense here?

The Beast

A largely unseen character, "The Beast" is the moniker given to the unstoppable monster present in the timeline that Kessler originally emerged from. While the character's existence remains unknown until the end of inFamous, the presence of the Beast and his actions are a critical part of the story, and serve as the driving force behind the events of the game. The Beast is seen in the final cutscene. Although shown only as a shadow, the Beast has glowing red eyes and red fire sprouting from his hands, a ruined cityscape with a clearly active volcano at its center and the moon shattered into many pieces above, in the background. It is likely that the Beast is an exceedingly powerful Conduit with some kind of control over fire. He returns in inFamous 2 where Cole will battle him full on in Empire City.

this game really got me good, i mean, talagang nakuha ng story yung emotions ko, haha!
yung sa good ending, nalungkot ako sobra nung nag start na mag narrate si zeke, lalo dun sa parang "the demon of New Marais became its patron saint"..
tapos nung nag eevil ako, parang sumasama yung loob ko nung patapos nung parang sasama ka kay the beast.. i mean, nagtrabaho ka magpalakas patayin yun tapos sasama ka lang pala.. tapos nung kaharap mo na si zeke, di ko masikmura yung gagawin eh, nakaka bother talaga.. and the evil ending, grabe talagang complete opposite ni hero ending..

sa infa 1 naman hindi ganun kadrastic yung difference ni good kay evil ending diba, nasabe ko pa sa sarili ko nun na maangas si evil cole eh..
ngayon talagang save or destroy eh..

kayo bang mga nag evil ending, nagka sense of satisfaction nung natapos niyo siya? ako kasi nagalit talaga ko kay cole, hahaha!

sana sa infamous 3, palabasin nilang may parallel world, tapos maglalaban si good at evil cole.. nice idea, eh?

Depende din sir kasi kung speed run tapos hindi ka concerned about acquiring new powers and blast shards, maiksi lang. Pero if you're going to play it "properly" (acquiring and finishing everything), I'd say it's a good 20+ hours (on hard).

I have to say I share the same sentiments with eruexe. (see gaming discussions thread )
I expected so much from this game story-wise but it didn't deliver. High expectations kasi best story dati ang Infamous 1. Even then the story wasn't really mind-blowing but a breath of fresh air in the disappointing plotlines of games in general. The sequel, for me, won't get any awards for best story this time.

Like LA Noire, the ending felt rushed. Mas okay sana kung merong development pa. I really didn't feel connected to the characters unlike sa part 1. Yung script sa first infamous was well-written. I kinda missed that.

Don't get me wrong, I still enjoyed playing the game. The leap from 1 to 2 is really superb. Enjoy ang mga powers at mga enemies (crushers ).

They should make a part 3. I'd like to see how they make the two very distant endings one.

Parang may hint din for a sequel. Pansinin nyo yung lightning at the very end of the good ending. May number 3.

complete opposite tayo ng views sa story sir, ako mas di ko nagustuhan si i1, di ako naattach dun eh. dito nalungkot(good ending) at nagalit(bad ending) ako.

LOL oo nga. complete opposites nga. But the good thing about it is okay lang. Maganda pa rin naman sya. Mataas lang expectations ko.

yeah i hated myself for killing zeke..

after me hearing the "i dont just call you brother cause i like how it sounds" line, zeke won me over. I forgot what happened in infamous 1.
and then..
boom..
the game forced me to kill him..
