Hindi naman puro takbo according to the article, sir. I think the emphasis in the article is the freedom when it comes to battle. Hindi mo kailangan lumaban all the time - that right there is a possible game lengthener (hahaha may word bang ganyan?). I mean pampahaba ng laro kasi sa first play-through mo, you can incapacitate them by fighting; sa 2nd play-through, pwedeng takbuhan mo lahat.

On the side note: Kung ganto nga ang freedom sa gameplay, dapat may trophy na 'Runaway Prisoner' (Runaway from all enemies except bosses). I like that!

Edit: May word nga na 'lengthener'. Hahaha!!!

basta hindi katuland ng shattered memories yung game play ok.. kasi wala na yung essence ng silent hill kung walang laban as in sobrang bored ako sa PSP game na yun nakakatulugan ko nga eh.. pwede kung mala silenthill Zero yung sa PSP dati ang gameplay..

Actually hindi masyado lol. Kasi pag namaster mo yung knife attacks, kahit yun na lang gamitin mo sa lahat ng kalaban mananalo ka! Sana this time mas ayusin nila ang combat.

hahaha meron ako na experience naman sa home coming doon sa apartment ata or hotel ba yon na stock na ako habang buhay doon no choice kundi umulit uli kahit load mopa save game mo wala parin.

I played Shattered Memories for only two days...tapos di ko na tinapos. Walang confrontations, puro takbuhan lang...the cowardly way to escape the phantoms.

Sayang tuloy ang $35 ko. :damn: :damn:

I played Shattered Memories for only two days...tapos di ko na tinapos. Walang confrontations, puro takbuhan lang...the cowardly way to escape the phantoms.

buti ako nakahiram lang hehehe. ang lame naman talaga ng ganung combat system eh you feel helpless walang action mas mabuti pa ginawa na lang nilang fatal fram ang gameplay puro gulatan lang hehehehe.. mas marami pa rin talagang hinahanap ang gameplay ng mga sikat nilang SH series. Paglabas nito watch mode ako sa reviews bago bumili.. ako kasi nung paglabas dati nung SH Homecoming napabili ako ng PS3 at nung game.. not knowing the control bug.. pero at lease hindi SH shattered memory gameplay

So pag umuulan nagbabago ang mood at appearance ng town diba? Consider me impressed. Dun sa trailer nung umulan, dumilim yung facade nung apartment; siguro may levels din ang transformation ng town. Sana pag nilalaro ko to, umuulan din sa labas for added effect. Wag lang malakas, tutulo kisame namin!!!

Surprisingly Dry Silent Hill: Downpour Screenshots Pour In

A proper, substantial batch of Silent Hill: Downpour screens have been released by Konami today, showing the game sporting a very Alan Wake-esque look with cold blue forest glades, the obligatory abandoned gas station and spooky shafts of light breaking through windows, exposing a crisp white bedspread, sullied by a big dead fleshy lump in a pool of blood. Yuck.

The screens show the game's new hero and ex-convict Murphy Pendleton venturing into the rusty Silent Hill underground and encountering some of the locals, including the mail man and a mysterious pistol-toting female.

There's a surprising absence of monsters in these screens, but we suspect that Konami and developer Vatra Games doesn't want to play its hand too early. After all, you don't want to expose your monsters right off the bat. That would just ruin the mystique. Check out all 18 screens in the gallery and brace yourself for Silent Hill: Downpour hopefully in autumn 2011.
