Street Fighter IV is ready for round two. When Capcom's flagship fighting franchise returned from relative dormancy earlier this year, it was critically lauded for faithfully recapturing much of what made its predecessors great. Capcom today announced it will be keeping to another of the series' traditions, the stand-alone revamp.
Where Street Fighter II had its Champion Edition and Street Fighter III received its 2nd Impact, Street Fighter IV will be succeeded by Super Street Fighter IV in spring of 2010. Capcom told GameSpot the stand-alone game will arrive on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 with a handful of additions, including "about eight" returning or newly created characters, new Ultra Combos for the original Street Fighter IV cast, enhanced online play, balancing tweaks, and more.
Capcom also revealed two of the additions to the roster, T. Hawk and Juri. T. Hawk debuted in the arcades with Super Street Fighter II, and is one of only two characters in that game (Dee Jay being the other) not already included in the console and PC versions of Street Fighter IV.
Juri is about to give M. Bison (Vega in Japan) a good old fashioned boot to the head.
The other confirmed character, Juri, will be the first Korean world warrior in the series, and uses an array of Tae Kwon Do kicks to batter opponents into unconsciousness.
As a stand-alone game, Super Street Fighter IV won't be compatible online with its predecessor. However, Capcom has said that the game won't be a full-priced game, and the publisher plans to offer a special bonus to gamers who already own Street Fighter IV.

I need to sell my SF4 bago bumaba iyung value niya.
Darn Capcom for not making proper use of DLC when it counts :damn:

mukang bibilin ko na to...complete ba characters dito from SF4? mas mura pa daw sa SF4.
sana sinama na yung mga character sa SF3 at yung iba pa,parang yung mortal kombat trilogy..

2 characters lang pala nadagdag,sabi pa naman sa rumors eh 10 characters daw,kasama si Dee Jay..Ok na din naman at least may bago features at mas mura..

6 na lang ang hinihintay na character na bago... di pa confirmed si Dee Jay... si Juri at T. Hawk pa lang ang pinapakita

Super Street Fighter IV Confirmed, Is Standalone Title
Capcom today have announced Super Street Fighter IV, a new, standalone title which is Street Fighter IV with eight new characters added and some tweaks made based on community feedback.
Of the eight characters, three have been announced: classic characters T. Hawk and Dee Jay (Dee Jay's reveal coming in the latest issue of Famitsu, below), and newcomer Juri. The rest could be anyone; new characters, old favourites, a mix of the two. We have no idea!
In terms of improvements to the game itself, producer Yoshinori Ono says that every character has been changed slightly based on comments from both players and the dev team, while an improved online experience is also promised.
Which begs the question: why an all-new title, and not just a range of DLC? Ono says the changes are so extensive that they couldn't just be tacked on, so a disc release was necessary. Those crying "RIP OFF" should know that the game "won't be sold at full price", and that those owning both the original and Super will are in store for an as-yet-unspecified treat.
It's due in Spring 2010 for the PS3 and 360. We'll ask what's up with the PC version.

Ok na rin sa akin na bagong game disc ang gawin nila dahil 8 characters naman ang i-lalagay nila eh. Kung less than pa the usual price ng game disc yung game then ayos pa rin sa atin ito.....
