Kung mayaman ako bibili ako niyan for collection, baka mag succeed sila and maging pinaka malaking PH car brand. Pero sana nag start nalang sila sa humble sedans or mga fuel efficient car.

Yan yung complain ng ibang enthusiast diyan. Mas mukha daw siyang European sportscar kesa sa American muscle. Ok lang sakin yung ext styling niya, ang ayaw ko lang eh wala parin yatang DCT diyan kaya kung gusto ko performance talaga eh mag mmanual ako. Huli kung drive ng manual eh nung A1 pa.

May thread pala dito about cars. Im about to purchase my 1st brand new car and im set to buy the new toyota vios 1.5G (high end model) im torn between the manual and AT transmission. Any suggestions guys? Never driven an AT.. My my dad's old cad which he gave to me is a kia Sedona manual transmission.

If you like easy comfortable hassle free driving = AT
If you like tuning stuff, mods, et al = MT

I would prefer AT only bec traffic in the Metro is really bad. The slightly higher maintenance cost of an AT is well worth the hassle. Sanayan lang yan. If you've driven MT all your life, hindi mo hahanapin AT. But once you've tried AT, rarely do I know of people who would go back to manual unless they're car enthusiast or concerned with the maintenance cost ng AT.

Antayin mo na yung bago. At least ma ccompare mo na yung reviews nila and kung yung old model parin mas gusto, bagsak na yung price niya.

Malaking factor kasi sakin yung road presence pag bibili ng ganyang kamahal na car. Siguro kasing important ng performance ang aesthetic para sa'kin pag nasa ganung price range. Kaya yung evo hindi ko masyado gusto kahit magaganda naman reviews niya.
TBH may halong pagyayabang narin yun. Pero kahit sinung average person na bibili ng almost 3m na car gusto rin siguro na medyo flashy yung bibilhin niya.

Sabi ng iba nawawala daw yung "connection" nila sa car pag AT, mas mura pagawa pag nasira, lamang din sa fuel efficiency ang MT so + din yun. Pero ako mas gusto ko AT. Lalo na sa traffic Pa bitaw bitaw ka lang ng brake.

^Thanks sa feedbacks. I was leaning towards the AT since my wife also wants to learn how to drive. Anyways, i think ill ask for a test drive for the AT to test how it feels to drive one. Sana meron test drive.

AT all the way! Magkano ba usually ang price difference ng AT at MT pag sa Toyota? Sa Honda usually 40k ang difference.

Yes admittedly, pero minimal in my opinion. Mas Malaki pa sigurong factor ang driving habits which may actually contribute more in terms of gas consumption.

On paper bro MT is not only cheaper but easier to maintain. Including parts, gas consumption, et. al. Pero cars today like the Vios, City and the like are really very fuel efficient vehicles already.

Afaik matipid parin ang manual compare sa cvt.

Gas consumption ng MT Honday City 2007 ko eh 12-14 km/l city driving, pag sa Slex at laging rekta mga 17/19 km/l. Kelangan din alam mo gas na gagamitin mo in certain trips. Pag alam ko long trips or sa highway talaga dadaan, I opt for higher octane fuels. Pag city driving, okay na yung Unleaded.

To think this is a 7-year-old car. Kelangan lang talaga well maintained at wag ka bara bara magdrive.
