Despite the messaging disadvantage, I'm still gonna upgrade my iPhone to the 8GB iPhone 3G...maybe by August 11...a month after the US launch.

Apple will release an open lined i-Phone at a 3x markup. :(

but if ur a Globe user then u shud be fine buying at Globe, they said they will offer the i-Phone for both Prepaid and Postpaid subscribers.

It's the price that is giving me the jitters. :quiet:

Bilib talaga ako sa mga Pinoy kapag bumili ng cellphones...kayang kaya ang 20K and above sa mga newest models.

Dito, pamurahan ng cellphones...mapa Palm Treo, Blackberry, Windows Mobile smartphone or "regular" cellphones...basta mabili lang.

Subsidized kasi ng network carrier ang retail price ng cellphone, mostly for the new subscribers.

hindi kasi ata uso ang prepaid dun. And dito naman if naka post paid ka pwede din ibigay sayo ng mas mura or free pa depende sa plan na kukunin mo. And also napapansin ko na mas mahilig talaga mga asians like pinoys sa mga cellphone. And ano magagawa ng mga Pinoy kung mas mahal talaga ang bentahan ng cp dito kumpara sa ibang bansa?
