Just got my Winning Eleven 2008 from play-asia :D

Can't wait to test it! Judging from the demo, frame rate was better than the demo of PES 2008. :-)

i think mas ok pa yung ps2 version kesa sa ps3 dahil kasi sa mga glitches
sana yang album na hawak mo ay hindi pirata, mahirap ata mag-isip at magpuyat ng ilang araw at parang kang may karay-karay na buntong-hiningang hindi matuloy-tuloy

Haven't tried online yet but haven't encountered any glitches so far. I'm surprised the Japanese version also includes the English commentary :-) :-) :-)

Typically I like the Japanese commentary better but great job on the English commentary this time around. I feel like I'm watching the English Premier League :D

Great to see footie players here. I've been a varsity player since elementary all the way to college. I miss playing in the UAAP. :(

gameplay-wise, yung instant replay lang ang panira everything else is perfect.

ang alam ko, sa japan WE ang tawag. pag sa uk, PES ang tawag.

i've played this sa ps2. ok naman. bumilis yung gameplay solid so ang hirap ng transition from fifa 08 to WE.

whats d Difference between this and PES2008?
I've played both versions on the PC and PS2...what I noticed is that most of the time, Winning Eleven is a tad slower that PES...PES has a faster pace of the game. This was the same for both demo's of the PS3 I tried. Though I've heard from others that the PES version slowed down a bit after the patch for the PS3 version.

Honestly I don't play much online as I don't have a connection to brag about anyway. So I can't really say if the patch changed the online game significantly. For the offline mode, the patch makes the replays a lot smoother than it was before. For the offline gaming minus the replays...its the same Winning Eleven I've known and loved since it's Super Famicom days (albeit twas not called WE before) :D

i love this franchise, much much more than EA's Fifa, but I have to admit that I'm a tad disappointed with W112008.

Well, there's the frame-rate issue. I kinda get nauseous playing games since the camera is a bit too choppy for my liking. will this issue be solved if i get an HD TV?
The graphics are good but well.. I was expecting a whole lot more.
And yeah, what the f*** happened to the goal keepers!? They fumble too much. x-(

but i'd still play this over Fifa any day :)
Just like KG, i've been loyal to this franchise since the super famicom games.
I think it was called "Jikkyou World Soccer" before, and was one of the 1st games to put in-game commentary :)
