Rainbow Six: Vegas 2

I'm not sure if there is a thread for this already but this is the next shooting game that will come out very soon. Release date is June 12, 2007 (US) so expect this to arrive during the 3rd week of June!

Anyway, am I the only one who's excited about this game? I don't usually play shooting games before but after Resistance and Call of Duty 3, I'm hooked! Especially with the online gaming, it was very very fun.

If this game is as good as its 360 counterpart, then it's a sure buy for me. I hope players here would buy it too for online purposes!

Just got it today (June 27)!!
Parang SOCOM, pero FPS. Well worth the wait, IMO. Susubukan ko pa ang online gameplay nito. Sana global ang server nito.

I have the US. Update on the online part: Online is good; teamwork is key to surviving and/or accomplishing the missions so headset (if only my #$% headset would stop losing connection which somehow affects my controller as well)is really a must. My online gripe is (hopefully for now and they fix it up later) is that waiting in the lobby can take a good 2-3 minutes...and a whole lot of loading. And since this game just very recently came out, only a very few online players could be found. So if you're used to the Resistance lobby (like I do), expect a lot of screen-staring.

Other than that, a good multiplayer game.

Yes, it has co-op up to three players, either storyline or "terrorist hunt"

Now that said, Darkness is a heavy story-centered FPS and kind of weak on the multiplayer side. RB6 is more on the tactical, squad-based theme. So, as to the question of which game aside from co-op, it depends on your taste. They're both fun games nonetheless.

Awesome, thanks for the info. If R6V takes 2 weeks to get here like Blitzburgh mentioned, I might pick up The Darkness and sell if after I've beaten the campaign. 3 player camapign coop = Nerdgasm! I don't even like shooters, but coop automatically makes everything fun. Guess I have to pick up that headset sooner than I thought.

The drought is over, folks! I think my PS3 is dying to eject Resistance from its Blu-ray drive.
