hi, my old modded ps2 got busted, tanong ko lang kung mapplay ba ng Jap unit ko 70000 model na unmodded yung NTSC U/C games. was never bothered about this since meke games lang bili ko before when i had a modded unit

if you want to play NTSC-U/C ps2 games on a NTSC/J PS2, you need to mod it. or you need swap magic (i think - it's better to modify it than using this b'coz it's less of a hassle if you're gonna play a lot of NTSC-U/C games)

been browsing lately here in PS3 Hardware coz i'm planning to buy one before the year end and i noticed that most if not all of the ps3 users are using high def tv, now my questions are:

can i use my old conventional tv to play ps3?
do i really need an HD TV to appreciate ps3? wala akong pambili ng hdtv eh

Yup u can use ur conventional tv, but as i said if u have seen it in hd hirap na bumalik but its still all gud

To answer your question:
Yes, maybe it's true if the technician says so. Having doubts? Try asking other shops. Maswerte ka pa nga kasi 5K lang isisingil nila sa iyo, sa akin, 13K (which is "lokohan") ang sinisingil dati. Take note, sa mismong SONY service center pa yun a.

If I where you, kung 5K ang singil nila, wag mong ipagawa. Bili ka na lang bago. Just add 2K, meron ka ng console. That's all.

pls... na-stock kasi ps2 ko ng 1 month tapos may naiwan na dvd game sa loob.. tapos nung gamitin ko na kanina, ayaw na gumana!
ayaw din lumabas nung ps2 logo.. pag-ON!.. natry ko na palitan ng a/v cables pero ganun pa rin! ano po kya problem at posible solution??? pls.. help naman po.... TEXT SPEAK VIOLATION

Pls po my PS2 games freezing!

Some games not all
But certain games are those which are "big"Ex. Bully & Chaos Legion
which are 4.3-4.4Gb in size. Pero TEXT SPEAK VIOLATION iba mga until 4Gig ok naman.

It plays fine and loads fine pero after a few minutes into play and battle,
Nag hahang na PS2 ko freeze na TEXT SPEAK VIOLATION game. Pls help??
Lens? Old Modchip? Crappy PS2?
