Xbox 360 o PS3

My first console for this generation was an Xbox 360. When it died due to the infamous 3RL, I jumped to PS3 because of the more reliable hardware and bluray functionality. When I learned that my sister was going to bring home a bluray home theater system for the holidays and reading reports that the Xbox 360 doesn't fail that often anymore, I decided to sell my PS3. Sure, I experienced truly great gaming moments on Sony's platform thanks to Killzone 2, Uncharted 1 and 2 and God of War 3, but I just couldn't find that "adrenaline-inducing" instances when I play, let's say, a Halo or Gears of War game. So, I decided to buy an Xbox 360 Slim.

Pare, I'm not trying to start anything. Its just that Halo and Gears of War are more suitable to my taste. If you read and understood my post, I said I did ENJOY games on the PS3. I didn't say that "PS3 sucks!" or "(Insert PS3 exclusive here) sucks a** compared to Halo or GeOW!" I simply gave my opinion on the matter and stated my preference. No need to call me an "Xbot" or whatever. That's just plain rude and childish. Sheesh.

Nasan ang adrenaline inducing sa mga games na yon.. kung meron man, wala pa ba sa Killzone 2, Uncharted 1 and 2 and God of War 3?

Exclusives are subjective imo, it boils down to user preference.

Nalaro ko kasi ang Halo at Gears of War (sa PC)... Bleh sila compare sa mga PS3 exclusives... yeah, subjective... pero kung Xbot ka...obvious talaga ang magugustuhan mong games kahit pa sabihin mas magaganda ang kabila

Exclusives are subjective, pero in my opinion, mas diverse pa rin ang exclusives ng PS3.

In my case, hindi naman ako fan ng FPS, so out na agad Halo tsaka Gears. While Resistance and Killzone won't do anything for me either, meron namang God of War 3, Demon' Souls, Valkyria Chronicles etc sa PS3.

Actually ok din ang Gears for me.. di ko lang talaga magustuhan masyado yung Halo.. di ko talaga ma gets yung hype. Enjoy kasi ako sa mga 3rd person shooter na merong cover system. ok yung mga may cover system para timing timing din sa pagtira medyo nakakasawa na din mag-ala Rambo.

Normal mode pa lang ako diyan eh.. Kaya trip ko din Uncharted may cover system.. Killzone 2 din.

Yun na lang kasi kulang ko para ma-Plat Uncharted... pag namatay ako ng 10-15x sa isang stage... tigil na ako... instead kasi na ma-relax ako sa paglalaro, nai-stress akong lalo pag laging patay

I was also never a big Halo fan till reach came along.
Gears has more of a fun factor to it rather than a hardcore shooter's feel. control scheme wise, i prefer gears to KZ. I like the eye candy of KZ more though. One more qualm i have with gears is that it takes too damn long for your foe to diev(in MP mode). Saya nga lang ng mga executions niya.

Halo Reach by far the best exclusive game ng Xbox360. Mas trip ko Halo reach kesa sa GeoW series hehe... lintek na locust naman kasi ilang head shots bago mamatay. Killzone 2 just played it once, and graphics wise its better than Halo Reach mas may aliw factor lang yung Halo Reach for me because of the customizable equipments.

for me Halo Reach > KZ2
but mas prefer ko pa rin other PS3 exclusives like UC1&2, MLB10, Valkyria Chronicles, Heavy Rain, GOW3.

I agree. Isa 'yan sa mga games na pinagpuyatan ko. Buti nakahiram ako ng slim sa cousin ko (YLOD' 'yung ps3 ko eh) When I finally get to buy a new PS3, i'd definitely play it again. (sayang trophies haha)

though wala akong xbox 360. pero for those multiplatforms imposibleng pantay lang tingin nila sa dalawang consoles na magkalaban. laging may lalabas na favorite though hindi naman ibig sabihin nun e fanboy na.

Most multiplatform owners my favorite na console yan. Hindi pwede lahat favorite yan. Parang meron kang dalawang kotse na ginagamit. Isa doon mas favorite mo at ginagamit mo during special event at pamorma, iyong isa naman pang casual lang. Ganon din sa videogames, iyong isa ginagastusan mo ng mabuti while iyong isa pailan-ilan lang ang pagbili mo ng games. Kaya hindi pwedeng pantay ang pagtingin mo sa videogame system. Excuse lang ng mga multiplat owners na hindi daw sila apektado, para hindi sila matira ... pero halatang halata sa comment ng ibang mga owners dito na maka XBOX 360 sila

If i ever own an xbox 360 (sa ngayon wala pang akong nakikitang dahilan para pagkagastusan ang xbox 360 especially this coming 2011 with 3 games worth buying in my opinion), aminado ako na prefer ko parin ang PS3

Maganda din ang XBOX 360 multiplatform games, kaso if you are a PS3 owner hindi mo priority bumili ng multiplatform dahil exclusive palang eh pahirapan na kung saan ka hahanap ng pambili lalo na sa 2011. Iyong 2010 ang binili ko lang na Multiplatform eh NBA2K11, Red Dead Redemption, Dragon Age, Naruto, Black Ops and Battlefield 2. So 6 games lang sya, all the rest exclusive games na ang binili ko sa PS3.

That's a well stated observation / assumption right there!

The ironic thing is that i cant seem to bring myself to agree with it. (no offense of course)

but as far as current gen consoles are concerned, i just cant have 1 preference. Marami akong gusto sa isang console na wala dun sa isa. Hence the happiness of owning both comes into play.

So at least during the times that exclusives and other features would suck or simply take too damn long to be released for one console, id always have tho other to rely on.
