Medyo mas mental torture yung Vettel, I think naka cumulative 100 hours ako over 6 weeks. Dapat ibalanse mo yung practice at pahinga. In addition to Vettel the rest of the trophies are time-consuming. Though since meron namang SO4 sa platinum list mo mukhang mahaba pasensya mo lol.

I think 25 secs na yung record sa Beat Zico, at sobrang imba nung requirements para magawa mo yun (ang daming controller breaking Nose Up + Sideshift + precision Barrel Rolls). Nabasa ko na mahirap ngang i-Platinum 'to using DS3 controller but ill try

Ill try again getting the trophies for this game.. haha.. sana maplat ko nga ito.. currently working on the license. Tagal k na din hindi nalaro to.. nauna ko pa mapalevel yung mga drivers bago yun license.. lol.

meron ba naka platinum dito sa PPS? nasa 40%+ palang ako.. ito yung unang game nilaro ko sa PS3.. after ilan months, nilaro ko ulit ito last week.. kumuha lang ako ng ilan gold sa racing events.. then tinamid na ulit ako.. ang hirap kasi nung iba.. lalo na yung license international.. nakaka ilang tries na ako hirap igold..hehe

Uu meron na.. there are a few.. around 5 ata.. limot ko name nila pero nakikita ko madalas sa sig nila.. kahit sino naman talaga ipagyayabang yung plat ng gt5 eh.. ds3 lang gamit ko ngayon medyo mahirap talaga, walanag budget eh.. bwhaha

Ang kinukuha ko TEXT SPEAK VIOLATION yung gtr challenge.. haha.. after 3 hours, im almost there, 4 secs na lang yung difference sa record.. onting pratice pa. 62% na ako. License at special events pa kulang ko..

ok meron din pala.. galing nila..hehe ano kaya gamit nila DS3 or racing wheel? kung lahat sila racing wheels hindi na ako aasa ma platinum ko pa ito..haha.. ayaw ko bumili eh.. mahal sobra tska di sulit..

Meron akong plat and DS3 lang gamit ko. Kailangan ng practice. Vettel Challenge is the most difficult. Cumulative time of... 100 hours over 2 months ang inilaan ko dun.

The licenses are the easier challenges. Kung nahihirapan ka doon, well, marami pang mas mahirap.

Just so you know, unemployed ako nung nakuha ko yung plat, so lots of time to practice. And I think it's important to note na sobrang pasensyosong tao ako.

Yung analogy ko kung gano kahirap yung platinum is isipin mo couch potato ka. Tapos kailangan mo takbuhin 10k. Di mo magagawa overnight.

Strangely enough, after getting the platinum, that's when I thought of getting a wheel (pero hanggang ngayon wala pa ring budget). Using the DS3 Gran Turismo is just a game. But with a wheel, it becomes an entirely new driving experience altogether. GT and real-life racing/karting fan ako kaya adik-adik ako sa GT5.

Overall my suggestion is that if you don't have to love for the racing genre, either in real life, or when it comes to racing simulators, and gusto mo lang nung trophy kasi 'prestigious' sya, don't go for the plat. Parusa lang. But if you're interested in doing it for the challenge and the sense of improving millisecond by millisecond, then go.

lol hindi. may plat ako pero di ko pinagyayabang, ibig sabihin lang nun I've been playing too much videogames na siguro dapat inilalaan sa bagay na mas productive o mas relevant sa totoong buhay.

although it's indicative of the personality, disiplinado ako pagdating sa trabaho/ibang gawain na kailangan ng sipag at tiyaga. haha

ganun pala yun.. haha.. hindi na talaga ako aasa.. dun palang sa license naiinis na ako eh.. sobra kasing realistic need talaga ng practice parang sa real life racing.. dagdag pa sa kainisan ko yung mabagal na loading.. hehe dapat din pala everyday nilalaro to, para tumaas exp and money.. ma miss mo lang isang araw balik ulit sa regular.. so dapat kung lalaruin ko ulit ito dapat focus na ako.. hehe

Well basta tapusin mo lang kung ano gusto mong tapusin. I don't think dapat nilalaro ang GT5 for the trophies (although kung may makuha ka, e di ok), but for the challenge of self-improvement. Sa una ang laki ng difference ng time mo sa passing time ng license pero unti-unti gumagapang naman.

Ako the first time ko binili yung game, diretso license and special events agad ako, tinry ko I-gold lahat. Mga 2 weeks bago ako nag start ng first race.

Kasi for old GTs (GT1 and GT3 yung nalaro ko), ginawa ko rin yung 'plat' requirements - which is, gold all events, collect most cars, etc. So alam ko na yung routine.

Ganun din ako nung sa gt 1. parehas lang eh. Kung nagamay mo yung dati kaya na yun..

Bro, hindi ko gets yung air of experience na trophy.. dapat ba maka500 races yung driver or 500 wins? Sabi kasi sa ps3trophies dapat 500 days to get the trophy, so does that mean 1 day is equivalent to 1 race?

500 races participated, dapat hindi naka-share yung driver. Di kailangan panalo, basta participation. Fastest way is to run the B-spec sunday cup over and over

Okay.. got it.. i still have a hundred more! I have a blister on both thumbs coz of the special events!

Mas sanay ako sa square at X button kaysa right stick.. pero ang sakit na sa thumb.. LOL

na gold ko din lahat ng events and license sa GT1 and 2.. yung 3 kalahati lang, yung 4 hindi ko nagustuhan sandali ko lang nilaro.. ganun nalang balak ko gawin sa GT5, laruin ko nalang kung ano kaya ko igold..hehe

inaala ko rin mga events na dapat marathon mo lalaruin..haha sobrang tagal ata nun hindi ko maimagine..

I'm still thinking twice whether to get this game or not. How much time have you guys devoted in playing this game?
What is making me like this game is the realistic graphics and gameplay.

One of my big worries is learning curve considering it's a Driving Simulator. Learning curve in the sense of Car Mechanics.
I played GT1 and GT2 before. I never played GT3 and GT4. I usually played most of NFS games (except for Shift series).
I played Forza 1, 2 & TOCA Race Driver but never managed to make a career / long time habit of playing it compared to other genre of games.

Maybe i'm looking for a better reasons to get this game....

Mataas talaga ang learning curve nito. Importante yung shifting especially during turns dahil minsan yun pa ang magiging dahilan para maging 2nd place ka sa last lap.

Try the demo first (GT Prologue) to see if you'll like this type of game. I'm thinking GT games are very similar with Forza in terms of driving.

Sige one of these days try ko.. Wala pa kasi akong racing game sa PS3 eh. Alangan pa kasi ako sa NFS Most Wanted kahit arcade racing siya, wala pa siyang price drop at sobra na-o-over the top ako.. Eh itong GT5 2013 nasa 1295php lang may bonus pa kasama.
