Im not 100% sure but it seems like they are referring to dead pixels (black/dark) or stuck pixels (continuously lit pixels) in which they are technically correct is not a system malfunction, its an aesthetic issue only.. even industry standards dictate the # of dead pixels in order to get a replacement screen.
But if its the all black screen issue and you get an uneven shade, its pretty common on OLED but by no means 'normal' as not everyone has them. This issue is holding me back from getting a Vita but this can be sorted out as time passes and manufacturing yields improve.
But its really up to the user on what he considers acceptable or not
ok walang problema. pweden naman kayo maghintay. para sa akin normal dahil di naman naapektuhan yung picture ng screen. Di tulad ng backlight bleeding dati sa mga lcd na pag sobra medyo halata sa image/picture ng screen.
...Saka di naman siguro dead pixel tinutukoy nilla dahil iibahin paba nila yung term eh mas kilala na yung dead pixel na word.

Wifi lang kunin mo bro kung sa Japan ka bibili. Locked sa Docomo ang 3G ng Vita. Tiyaga lang sa hanap kasi maraming stores sa Japan laging out of stock ang Wifi version. Ganyan nangyari sa kin kaya napilitan ako bumili ng 3G/Wifi. Y5000 difference lang, kaya ok lang. Hirap din sa JP version pala, I think, walang mga value packs na may free games and memory card. Naghanap kami eh pero wala, puro unit only and individual naming binili yung mga accessories and games.

Will be keeping my eye on the PSvita when prices settle down after the release sa US/Europe market, should be a good time to buy.. Kahit sa SG its estimated to be at 399SGD (Php 14k)
So far the issue above is very remote and I hope it stays that way but what concerns me more is that some games involve in tilting the hand held at various degrees thus showing either a blue/green/iridescene color tints on the screen, hindi ba nakaka ruin sa gaming experience ?
...saan ba makikita yung savefile nang mga games? badtrip kasi aksidente ko atang na new game yung sa everybody golf ko, di ko kasi alam na new game ata yung isang option dun, susubukan ko lang sana kung ano yun. ma recover ko paba yung save file ko dun? dami ko na kasi na kuha dun at naka hole in one nako dun sa profile na yun. almost nakumpleto ko narin yung clubs at balls.

Yep. Just delete the data, remove the cartridge, and reinsert again to reinstall the game and para ma-link sa account mo for the trophies.

at kapag naka charge nakasleep mode lang? o fully shutoff?
lastly kapag chincharge ba sya, di ba nailaw yung home button, panu nyo nalalaman na full charge na?
in my exp kasi nailaw pa yung home button, tapos pipindutin ko to check kung malapi na mapuno. tapos bugla bigla na lang hihinto yung ilaw nung home button, signaling na its full charge na.. parang hinihintay lang nung unit pindutin ko yung home

I do charge when lowbatt alarm prompts and then turn-off the vita. Hindi lang basta sleep mode kasi masmatagal mag fullcharge pag nakaganun. Pag wala ng ilaw yung home button and pagka turn on mo eh wala na yung lightning animation sa battery, it means full charge na yung vita.
