yes that's true kasi you have to be logged on as the user who bought it or existing siya [owner] sa users ng ps3 unit mo pero pedeng gawan ng paraan... i have a way for that ala game sharing... ang free mo makukuha na sure kahit di ka mag-log in are super rub a dub and gripshift...

yung PSone games pala sa US PSN gumagana sa Asian PS3. I bought a game nung weekend Wild Arms :D

Ganon? Pag disc ayaw. Sinubukan ko yung US Chrono Cross sa Asian PS3 (PAL), ayaw gumana. Region-ek ek daw. :(

Wow... :shock: Sana naman alisin ng Sony in future firmware updates yung region-locking sa PS1/PS2 games sa PS3. Sayang lang nga yung EE sa Asian PS3 ko eh, puro NTSC/U mga PS1 at PS2 games ko. :P At dalawa lang yung input sa gamit kong SDTV. :P Wii yung isa pang nakakabit. :lol: (Pero habang hindi pa bumabalik yung PS3 ko, PS2 muna uli. :P )

yep yung wild arms dinownload ko sa USPSN. so dapat region 1 yun. i'm using an asian PS3. surprisingly gumana sya :-)

well, sana nga matanggal ang region locking sa ps2.. madalang kasi ang ps2 game na ntsc-j tpos english.. puro japanese..

nga pala, reminder, all asian ps3's except jap systems na 60gb and 20gb dont have EE chips with them.. take note of that..

talaga? any proof? para saan naman ang Emotion Engine (EE) chips?

yun yung para sa backwards compatibility ng PS2 games, wakokok.. imo yun ang name ng GPU ng PS2, parang RSX ng PS3

actually wala na EE ngayon yung mga new units, tinanggal na talaga ng Sony.. imho pati us jap tinanggal na din hindi lang asian :-D

Newbie question po, got a US 40gb, ask ko lang kung meron ibang location ang PSN stores? Different po ba ang store ng US at Asian units? Or same lang pero iba lang TEXT SPEAK VIOLATION localization nya (i.e. currency)? Kasi parang sa Singapore PS Store nkaconnect TEXT SPEAK VIOLATION console ko, kasi Sing dollars ang nkdisplay, tapos ndi ata lahat ng content ay pareho? is there a way to access others stores?
