I'd rather have SE take their sweet time to make this remake as better as possible..I mean, we've waited so long for this to happen and 2-3 years isn't so bad.

i would love to see that too pero parang against ako na incorporate yun kasi parang hindi bagay sa timeline. But then again, ang nakita lang natin sa reveal trailer so far is yung initial weapons muna nila so there is still the possibility for the devs to make room to put the weapons we saw in advent children and make them as final weapons... cloud did perform omnislash using those weapons in the movie anyway

Yup, you are right! Sana hindi na siya alagain at kasama na si daddy maglaro ng games hehe. Dami kong games and animes sa collection ko, dami niyang panonoodin habang lumalaki. I still have the Voltes V and Daimos series in CD (Philippines original version) for sure magugustuhan niya iyon.
I never played FF7... FF8 na. Pero ok lang mas na-appreciate ko ang turned-based system dahil kina Squall.
Nakapanood na rin ng Advent Children, saw some videos of Dissidia.
Pero since FF15 will have a action/adventure gameplay feel. I think it'll be exciting to control your FF7 characters in such FF15 manner.
Control the battle like how Cloud and Sephiroth did in Advent Children? Everyone wants that.
It's not i don't like turn based. Remake na rin lang why stick to old formulas? Sayang naman ang hardware. If Kojima can push PS4 to the limit why not SE right? I think pwede pa mag-turnbased pero for mini-games? I don't know.

sana gawin nila combat katulad ng dragon age inquisition. Kontrolado mo yung apat na tao at pwede ka lumipat lipat mg point man. Hindi lang isa katulad ng FFV XV. Nothing against sa turn base na battle Nag enjoy ako ffvii- ffx pero tingin ko di na sya mag hold up sa panahon ngayon especially with the upgraded graphics. Naglalaway na ako kaka isip ng summons ng game na ito. Haha

Final Fantasy 7 project director and original FF7 character designer Tetsuya Nomura has made it clear that the new version won’t just be a visual upgrade: things are going to change.
“The original is out again: the ‘HD’ PC version is coming to PS4 already. We don’t need two of the same thing,â€
“Even if we beautified and upgraded the visuals – something that’s bound to happen. If it’s a full remake, then of course, we want to take a different approach. If we actually just upgraded the visuals there’d be no need for me to direct it.
“If we take everything literally the same, we’re turning into the HD port again.â€
Nomura has repeatedly refused to be drawn on what might change (although he has hinted the Honey Bee Inn section will remain, along with other light-hearted moments) but said he won’t do anything too “drastic†like switching genders, for example, and his colleagues are keen to retain as much of the original’s spirit as possible.

madami nang ways ngayon to play the original ff7, if you can, I would strongly suggest that you give it a try so you can catch up on what it's all about. Then you decide for yourself on why the ff7 title alone is a highly sought after game and on why it has spawned a lot of spin-offs/movies just by itself.
^hindi na babagay pag ginawa nila yun. Masyado na mahaba at hindi na bagay sa plot. Ang storyline lang naman kasi ng ff7 revolves around the exploits to save the planet, yun lang.
Kaya lang baka masyadong humaba hehehe.
