Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty is the sequel to the highly acclaimed Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction for the PS3. Now coming out exclusively on the Playstation 3 via Playstation Network, Quest for Booty will feature at least four hours of gameplay for the price of $14.99. The price is kinda too high for a four hour game but if you are a die-hard fan of Tools of Destruction, there is no reason for you to pass this game up.
The story of Quest for Booty starts off where the Tools of Destruction left off. After Clank was abducted by the Zonis, Ratchet must rescue him. Venturing to new planets and some familiar ones, Ratchet must find a way to rescue Clank with the help of old friends from Tools of Destruction.
There are some new features that can be expected in this game. The wrench that Ratchet uses now has an ability to push, pull and manipulate objects. One of the main highlights of Tools of Destruction was the cool gadgets Ratchet has. In Quest for Booty, those gadgets are still there but with new additions just like the ability to have some kind of a light torch. With it, you can have a light in dark places.
Quest for Booty will introduce four exotic locations on Planet Merdegraw. These are the Pirate Fleet, Hoolefar Island, Morrow Caverns, and Darkwater Cove. I believe that each location will take up to at least an hour. Even though this is just a downloadable game, I am 100% positive that you will be able to enjoy the same experience you’ve got with Tools of Destruction. The ability to interact with town’s people and other objects will still be in this game.
Judging based on the screenshots, Quest for Booty is exactly similar to the graphics of Tools of Destruction. Hopefully, when the game comes out, the game won’t be over 5GB because they can just put this game on a DVD-9 disc or just release the game in Blu-Ray instead of downloading this via Playstation Network.
Overall, the game is looking good so far but I still wonder how many gigabytes this game will take up on the hard drive. If you have not played Tools of Destruction, I suggest that you buy it now so that you won’t be lost with the story when Quest for Booty comes out.
We’ll have more developing news of the game as the release date approaches!
Actually parang continuation ito sa Ratchet PS3, I'm so excited!!!

Ouch: IGN Review is Up
Wow, 3-4 hours lang sya? Parang mas okay nalang nga kung igameshare.8.0 Presentation
An extension of Tools of Destruction's awesome universe, the production values here are high once again. Sadly, the smaller scope means cutbacks on the number of cool weapons and storyline.
9.0 Graphics
Ratchet & Clank is still one of the best looking games the PS3 has to offer. Not only are its artistic merits great, but the technology behind the visual effects and presentation are fantastic.
7.5 Sound
The voice-over work is of the usual high-quality, but the soundtrack is sparse while borrowing a lot from the last game. Cool audio effects.
7.5 Gameplay
Extra-tight controls and classic R&C shooting infused with more platforming and puzzle solving. However, there's limited opposition, fewer weapons and upgrades, and less gameplay variance than ever.
6.0 Lasting Appeal
Depending on your skill, it'll last 3-4 hours. There are multiple difficulties and a few hidden goodies, but the lack of depth compared to previous titles makes it hard to justify a return.
7.4
Decent OVERALL
(out of 10 / not an average)

hmm its only $14.99 not $59.99, they said 8-10 hours lang nga ang ToD, pero i spent 20+ hours sa game, i wanted to get everything lols this is certainly better than Wolf of the Battlefield something or that Capcom Rocketmen crap
Anyways this is part 2 of ToD, if you notice nag-isa nalang si Ratchet, those who have finished ToD will know why

It's still a hard sell at 15 dollars IMO.
Bibilin ko pa rin, don't get me wrong, but I'd rather get something like BC Rearmed than this.
